e pain am well I have posted numerous historical prove written in the time period but u always claim everybody whether it be the British or Portuguese or whoever u always claim they were against ur village king now the prove I have posted is very much seen on the internet and anybody looking to learn can cite it cuz it’s a concrete source that will be accepted in any academically institute except to maybe edo boys meanwhile ife art is also appreciated all over the world too. U are the one who claim Benin birthed the whole Yoruba race not me.

shut up there oyo king is by ancestry just like almost every Yoruba kingdom. It is not necessary that the first born will automatically be the king. U just have to be a descendants of the king just like the German. It use to be hereditary when if a king dies the first king automatically takes his place but since the notice that the (aremo) the king first child will want to hasten the death of his father so he can become king they changed the model. So u can be second or 3rd born and still be king as long as u come from the king lineage. Ibadan was created in 1892 during the break of oyo and had more population than ado ekiti that has existed beyond it. How will Nigeria population surpass the Americas own dumbass do more people go to Nigeria than America and do more people leave America than they leave Nigeria use ur head dumbass think. And despite that expert are predicting due to Nigeria high birth rate and the Americans low one we will surpass their population by the year 2050. I don’t want to believe u are this dumb to ask me such question. Now have u googled chief Oloton and sango mother like I told u too.

Ogedengbe the generalissimo of Ilesa and Ekiti parapo forces invaded Edo territory around 1878 capturing towns and was about to overrun and take Benin city if not for the desperate attempts of the Oba of Benin and his Chiefs in pacifying him.

Many Edo’s still bear the Ijesa Yoruba surname of Ogedengbe today.

What da Bleep appreciate ife art ...if dey were asked to be returned they will return it with no delay it has no document or whatsoever ....most of the ife art was sold inexchange for goods the rest were archaeological findings in site and was given willingly to the finder's

Ogedengbe was not defeated not even by the Ibadan Army that defeated the Fulanis the Oba of Benin and his Chiefs pleaded desperately with him to show mercy and not destroy Benin he had already taken many Edo towns and had encircled and besieged Benin . Ebohon was probably the leader of the begging party Oba of Benin sent to deliver presents and plead with Ogedengbe ,but was later killed to save face, that is why there was no confrontation with Ogedengbe at Orhua. By the way Orhua was solid Benin territory why was Ogedengbes Army not confronted there? Or was the Benin Army too scared to fight? Think ,do people bear the name of a general they defeated for over 100 years ?

Ebohon and his party were sent to plead with Ogedengbe . The Esans were the traditional Warriors of the Oba of Benin. Learn your History.
The reason Ogedengbe wanted to punish Oba of Benin was because he was supporting the Ibadan Army while Ogedengbe and the Ekitiparapo were at war with Ibadan.

Around 1878 Ogedengbes Army after overrunning and taking many Edo towns encircled Benin and besieged it and would have overun and taken the City but for the desperate attempts of the Oba of Benin and his Chiefs in pacifying Him.
