First of all no bank will loan you money to buy a house if you don't have at least good credit history,and the better your credit score the better interest rate, if you meet all these requirements then put at least 20% down payment if you go by conventional mortgage loan but if you want to go by FHA loan then yougot to have 5% down payment but you must pay PMI which won't pay if you pay 20% down payment.On top that you mus tpay property tax every year.The property tax for that house is not less than $15,000 a year.So it's not as easy as you think.

Unlike Nigeria where we don’t pay taxes but expect our miracle working God to provide us with good schools, roads, 24/7 electricity with street lights, water, clinics etc.
