Questions For Briafrans. by Timewilltell2(f): 8:34am On Jul 02, 2018
The people who want biafra call Nigeria all sorts of names. Are you not part of of the reason Nigeria is where it is today ?

You claim , when you get biafra it will have the best universities in Africa, but how come the schools in the east are struggling to make the stupid list as we speak even the nigerian list? What will change that you can't change now, mouth ?

You claim you will have 24hr light, but your region is the most suffering with light as we speak undecided.

You claim you will be technologically advanced in Africa, what is stopping you from innovating now? . The Forbes Africa list was dominated by Nigerians but not from your region, how come ?

You claim our passport is rubbish , but you rubbished it with crime , will you not do the usual business with biafra passport to make it useless too ? undecided

Will you perform miracles if you get biafra?

As an Igbo man, In not going to speak for other tribes but I believe in the independence of Igbo land.

It is when we get our independence we can manage our resources and develop our selves. Right now in Nigeria, that is not possible

When we take over our resources & make laws/policies that are not hindered by that of Nigeria, you will see that we aren't joking.

For now, we are a people whose potentials are suppressed by Nigeria.

Go and read of industrialization in the East before and during the war. Technological advances Biafra achieved during the war are yet to be replicated here in Nigeria after many years of the war.

Even though their Federal Universities are not ranking number 1 now, but in Literacy rate, best performance in WAEC and foreign Universities, enrollments in Medicine, Law and Engineering the East is besting all regions.

When it comes to fiscal prudence, the total debts of SE is 7.8% of all the debts of the 36 States plus FCT.

When it comes to power, by 2020 all the power stations in SE are completed, SE will generate over 5000MW of electricity.

With power to formulate their own fiscal and monetary policies, Biafra will be a great nation under the sun, economically, socially and militarily.

Even in nutrition, average household income, crime rate and achievement of Millennium Development Goals(MDGs) we best all regions. Enugu was the first city in west Africa to join list of most economically resilient cities in the world alongside Paris and New York. Onitsha and Nsukka according to demograghia are part of most built up cities in the world. We also have the fastest rising middle class in this contraption so our future looks bright.

Also the OP seems to be quite uninformed. The current 2018 forbes list of richest nigerians contains 4 Igbo men.

Every state in Nigeria has mostly the indigenes managing their state funds , why are you not doing better than other regions to show us if you had better funding you would do even more?.

I'm not talking about managing states funds, that's for kids. I'm talking about the Enugu man controlling his Coal in Enugu, I'm talking about the Anioma man controlling his oil in Delta state, I'm talking about the Ukwa man controlling his Oil in Abia or the Abakiliki man controlling his Limestone in Ebonyi.

It is when you control the resources on your land that you are master of your destiny

In this dream of yours , these resources of yours will be properly distributed and the rich igbo man won't do the oppressing of the poor and unknown ? There won't shortchange the nsmeles for those in their family and circle as is the case now not just in the east but all over the country?. The igbo man will suddenly stop being greedy and selling his own?

You are informed. Kudos.

Enugu made that list with Accra alongside Barcelona, Paris, London, Athens, Atlanta. Over 360 cities were examined but only 35 made the list that year.

The Rockerfeller foundation were trying to map out the top 100 most resilient cities in the world and they did it in batches. Enugu and the other 34 cities made the first batch and started acting as model for cities seeking for global resilience.

Lagos used the Enugu model and in the next batch was appointed.

They couldn't maintain that status, a year later Lagos was named 2nd worst place to live in the world by The Economist while Enugu was again named the Most Serene Place to Raise Kids in Nigerian.

This years Lagos has deteriorated more into dirtiness.

Few years back The Rice Report named it The Mega City of Slum. According to the report over 60% of Lagosians are Slum Dwellers.

Open defeacation is a part of the city together with their stunted bungalow private residential buildings.

Lagos cannot catch up with Enugu in serenity and majesty.

You have to try something out before writting it off. Nigeria is already a write off, so trying something new is not a bad idea at all

The reason why I reply some of these threads is for the sake of those sitting on the fence in regards to independence.

There are some threads that are designed to cause mischief, I avoid those ones. The ones that ask questions such as these one are ok
