WhatsApp App is very popular and one of the most used app in the world. Many believed it was created after telegram (a topic for another day). Now we all use WhatsApp for chatting, uploading of statuses etc.

Phone numbers and chats are being sent back to the parent company which we all know it's Facebook, this we let Facebook run analytics on your activities (E.g chats, etc) and will also let Facebook send you friend requests from people you chat with on WhatsApp (using the people you may know feature), Facebook will also be allowed to run targeted ads to you based on your data.
