This is the moment 12 boys and their football team coach were found alive after becoming trapped in a flooded cave for more than a week in Thailand.

Video shows the starved and frightened youngsters crammed onto a wedge of rocks waiting to be rescued after nine days of desperate searching.

The boys, mostly seated and with baggy football shirts pulled over their knees, were discovered by two British rescue divers with Thai Navy seals.

In the clip a diver, speaking with a British accent, urges the group to stay calm and says 'many, many people are coming... we are the first'.

Mehn when i saw the video feeds on Aljazeera i almost cried.. See the boys and their coach were looking thin but they never gave up and their government came for them. If its Nigeria.. They will all die there.

Imagine the words of encouragement the coach would have been giving them down there. the support and care. If the coach wasnt there, i doubt if all would have survived.

This is one country lives matter. Imagine there have been conflicts n killing in a particular region n nothin have really been done to stop it for years now.

Sometimes, people take pictures or make videos in situation like this to document their final moments incase they dont make it.

Not only that, my tecno T484 can last a month without charging it.

Lives of cattle owners also matter, it is not strictly about cows alone. Tell the lazy youth to find work and stop seeing cattle rustling as lucrative business. You would kill herdsmen in the bush, bury them and rustle their cattle and would thinking that there wouldn't be a repercussion.

In my country, we would rather be fasting and praying while the government sets up a committee, who in turn would fight the government for not appropriating enough funds for their sitting.

2 divers got to the boys first, told the boys many other people are coming, gave them lights and told them that they are coming back.

It's all in the trail if you carefully read it again.

Nigeria would just sandfill the mine and say fake prayers for them. We use God to hide our wickedness in Nigeria. that is why you see a scammer saying God bless and protect you as you assist me just before swindling you.

A very expensive search but the authorities did not consider the region or state where the kids are from before committing all they could to get this irreplaceable lives. Thank God all the lost were found. In Nigeria it is only football that can unite us not a tragedy or emergency especially when it is perceived to only affect a region. I pray that we shall one day reach the status of being humans as we are still far from it.

He would have told d boys he was coming that d boys should wait just d way he told Nigerians that we should patronise made in Nigeria goods&that he will stop medical tourism. In d end, he will find his way out of d cave. When those outside ask him 4d boys, he will remember Gaddafi, GEJ, recession, lazy youths e.t.c. and how they prevented him from carrying d boys out of d cave. when he is criticised 4 leaving d boys behind, he will say is it not just 12boys? What's d big deal? PDP has left more boys in d cave b4. After all, in zamfara we lost more boys nobody complain

Why would the man suffer?

Flash floods can happen at any time. They were in the cave when it happened, their escape route was filled with water, and that can happen within minutes. The coach did the best he could. He kept young boys save and alive. He probably rationed the food they had with them, water, made sure they do not go where it is dangerous or try to swim/dive out of the cave. If not for him, we would probably now read about some kids missing, some drowned, some starved and seriously sick.

If this had happened in Nigeria, their service if songs would have been conducted after three days even while they are still alive with V.P osibande coming to commemorate with the families of the deceased.

This is another thing with the Nigerian military forces....all about oppression to the people they are meant to protect.

I can imagine what the foreign government would do to a military man that even slaps talkless of beat or kill a civilian, he should know that his beans don finally done that day

Prosecuted: Bring a criminal action against in a court of law.


Persecuted: Cause to suffer or oppressed.
