dominique:what they are saying is that if you are wrongly charged by your bank, you write to consumer protection department in CBN. They will facilitate to ask your bank to refund you. They have been doing that. Bankers in the house can testify. |

guru03:there is no general refund. When u report illegal charges, they will inveatigate and ask your bank to refund you. People have been writing and be getting refunded. Thats what they are saying. |

please they should look into Access bank cause for over two months i made no withdrawal from Access account still they are charging me monthly while my first bank i use regularly they hardly take any charges. i so much dislike Access Bank for it if not for federal government i won't dare open an account with Access |

DabFrankNG:it is very true. If ATM deducts your money without dispensing, complain to your bank, if u dont get the refund after 1 week or so, write to cpd@gov.ng and see how fast you will get your refund. Someone stole my friend's cheque book piece, forged his signature and went and withdrew about 120k in his account. The moment he received the debit alert, he checked his chequebook and saw the torn piece. He went to the bank and complained. They were not cooperative. He wrote to the email address with evidence. The bank called him and started apologising. Asked him to withdraw the petition. Which he did. Within 3 days, they credited him bank. Those guys are really working only that many people dont know about them |
