EXTRA: ‘I dey kampe’ — Macron takes a stab at pidgin English (video)

Emmanuel Macron’s visit to Lagos has so far been eventful and filled with many memorable moments.

The latest of such interesting moments is a BBC video in which the President of France takes a stab at the increasingly popular pidgin English.

“My name na Emmanuel Macron. Na me be di President of France and I dey kampe for Lagos today,” Macron said.

Imagine the simplicity.

We need under 40 men and women in power. This country has stagnated due to the outdated ideas and outdated people running point since the inception of this country.
