The Deeper Christian Life Ministry is set to graduate the first batch of its multi-purpose Skill Acquisition Programme for youths.

The programme, which is being run by the professional and vocational arm of the ministry, the Young Professional Forum, is set to present awards and certificates to 355 young men and women.

The participants are drawn from a broad spectrum of persuasions and religious affiliations.

A statement by the Office of the General Superintendent of the ministry, Pastor W. F. Kumuyi, said the initial graduation is first in the series of fast-paced, multi-faceted curricular being served to address unemployment and under-employment challenges facing the youth.

The statement said: “Strategic institutions in our society need to act fast and in concert with government at various levels to confront the unemployment conundrum, which is adversely affecting our youths, who constitute a vital plank of our population.”

Truth is many Churches do several charitable deeds silently, but because of the way Nigerian think churches are their number one problem, many churches now want to tell you want they have been doing to support their members

This now reminds of what a member told me then, that when he attended the annual leaders convention held in lag the other time (almost 2years now) The car he drove there have little fault, he just have to drive it to the mech workshop within the camp and the car was perfectly fixed even beyond his expectation without collecting kobo from him. Now I get it, so the system have been on ground for long

A priority of the church should always be to help the poor and underprivileged.

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.

....the difference between what this church is doing....teaching not only its members but others also how to fish.....and other churches which toss fish at times to its members.
