That salary isn't looking good guys. I don't know if it's my eyes but that first figure I see there is a 1. That implies per annum the salary is 1.sumtin mill. E small oooo. Correct me if I'm wrong guys.

Meanwhile, glory to God, got my visa for Australia coupled with a work permit 2 days ago. Should I get this DPR gig, I intend on staying for it whether the salary big or small. Lol. Meanwhile, if anyone has good some good advise with respect to what they think might pay off better on the long term, I'm more than willing to hear.

Good luck to us all. Amen.

From previous recruits, it’s 1.6m per annum and that’s the basic. Allowances are not included.

[quote author=Legend90 post=69151729]Experience letters are getting their letters signed, so as soon as he has finished signing them, they will collect. Same week as well but not from monday, but by the week ended everyone would have been contacted, including EH

All GT from Monday, maybe a few lucky EH

Before anyone says how long it takes to sign letters that isnt his only.job[/quotw.

Well-done Oga Legend for your tremendous contribution, please i have just two last questions to ask.
We all know that notifying the successful candidates is not the same as collecting the APLs,
Kindly clarify:
1-Are they going to notify the EH's on the same Monday together with the G.T's, or they will differ the sms/email till their letters are ready?

2- You made mention the SMS and Emails as the mediums by which the successfuls would be contacted,
Those that mean DPR will no longer use portals for the contacts? Why I'm anxious is that, so many candidates have never received any SMS or email from DPR throughout the entire process, they only saw the invites(Test and interview) on their portals .

Thank you

Mr. Legend90, thank you for this letter.

I noticed the letter says to complete and return the acceptance slip on or before 1st October 2018. But the resumption date (they say) is in August, how does that work? A clarification would be highly appreciated.

Thank you.

You can get a hint from paragraph number. 4 on the offer letter. I think resumption date is subject to condition stated on paragraph number 4.

Normally, you have 90 days or 3 months within which to accept or decline an offer of employment.

I believe that DPR's intent is for successful candidates to begin work in August, but the laws that be, says you have 90 days to make up your mind, failing of which, you loose that employment and since DPR is government parastatal, they have no options than to stick to the laws.

I hope this helped?

Honestly speaking it is highly merit-ful. Lots of people got it based on merit. Roughly 80 percent on merit. Congratulations for Mr Tata is due, wasnt easy for him

HRtechnique:

Hey chief,

Congratulations.

Here comes the most important question of all.

In your honest opinion, how "meritable" is this recruitment and the final list?
Give me a percentage... Just curious.

Thanks.

Please othee than Engineering guys, how did other people fare.

Is it true that if your course is not related to the post applied that you won't be considered.

Did additional certifications have any mark for GTs

Oh yes, it helped
Thank you for that.

Another question, I assume everyone will go on training roughly at the same time or in batches (I don't know), so for e.g. if someone decides to accept the offer so close to the deadline, say September 28th, where/when does his/her training come in before the start of work?

And does that mean that some people who have accepted their offer sharply may have started work already (say, in the said August) before that late-comer even accepts his/her offer?

I don't know how all this works. Just wondering.

They will call your numbers that you uploaded on your portal, you will all collect from your zonal offices based on the address you put on your portal unless someone else collects for you.

Youll also receive text incase they dont get you on your phone.

The reason i said EH will have slight delay is because he will use today to sign your letters, but there is no work so its until monday before they send to other zonal offices outside Abuja. Those for Abuja will collect from Monday and the rest from Tuesday or Wednesday Latest.
Lagos too if he goes back to Lagos on sunday from Monday

Thank you Mr. Legend90
Appreciated.

Varies from state to state based on your state representation. Like Ebonyi had alot of slots while Niger had little.

After the 3 months has elapsed everyone will go for induction at the same time. So doesnt matter when you start

That 1 per LGA is nonsense.

Posting is after you accept your offer. That is why on the letter it says you agree to work in any location.

Dont worry it is saturday already. Before you know it back to weekday

if this letter is anything to go by it means, acceptance or resumption date is from the 1st of September 2018. Which indicates that the APL may not out until the end of July or August.

Modified. I just saw where you said 90 days. I'm use to 1 month with "regular civil service" anyway all the best to all.
