for a while now, my ps3 consol has refused to power on...when i push the power button, it comes on (green) and goes off (red) immediately. i really need help on this ASAP!!

Did this occur as a result of u attempting to jailbreak the ps3 wit the latest exploit? If so then you should ask the developers at www.psx-place.com/ for help.

Sounds like your ps3 is bricked and therefore gona cost alot to fix.

Might be yellow light of death (ylod). Probably due to your ps3 overheating.
