Complete nonsense. She could get the state services to investigate him, if all clear either give him a chance or ask for a restraining order. Criminalizing him because of that is not only abuse of power but stupid to say the least. The woman is not the smartest pencil in a bunch.

the new evidence be examined for their merit or demerit.

Yes, the judge can throw the paper into the next available bin, if it’s not worth the paper it’s written on. Do you know that majority of filed cases doesn’t make it into the court room?

Yes, a judge has the power to make any ruling. It is not uncommon for a
convict to fight and lose a retrial battle, then give up. It is not like a lawyer just
shows up in court and ask the judge to free his client because he found new evidence.
It is not that simple.


It should, if a man is sentenced to 5 years imprisonment and spent the whole 5 years fighting for a retrial with no success. What is his gain?
It would have been better he didn't fight it and save his money.
