Eden Hazard Beats Nigerian Jay-jay Okocha 1994 World Cup Record by modaink333(op): 10:20am On Jul 07, 2018
Eden Hazard sets new World Cup milestone. No one in at least 52 years has done the same

⚽Hazard was responsible for carrying the ball in Belgium's hard-fought 2-1 over Brazil
⚽His 10 successful dribbles out of 10 is the best result in 52 years [probably longer, no data earlier]
Eden's task for the second half, just as Belgium were leading Brazil 2-0 and then 2-1, was to keep the ball in possession for as much as possible on counters and Hazard was the man for the task.
Not only did he retain it in one spot, he managed to advance and earn fouls for his team which allowed them to waste some time:
It's worth clarifying that Eden didn't make the most dribbles in one game - this record belongs to Nigerian Jay-Jay Okocha and his 1994 performance against Italy. He then completed 15 dribbles but that was not a 100 per cent record.

Yes, he is simply over hyped, I even suggest he should be tested for doping, because he rarely gets tired. I have noticed it @club level and It was evident again last night at the closing moments when all the players were visibly exhausted he was still blistering with aggressive pace. That kind of energy is simply unnatural.

If the Italians were difficult to dribble, why didn't they win their group or win the World cup in 94!

You must be blind!

I wrote winning the world cup not getting to the final

Goals conceded by Italy in 94
Lost 0-1 to Ireland
Drew 1-1 with Mexico
Won 2-1 against Nig
Won 2-1 against Spain
Won 2-1 against Bulgaria

Had only 2 clean sheet against Brazil and Norway

Conceded 5 goals on the road.......difficult to dribble my foot!
