Good road condition, as associated with economic development, has been an intuitive phenomena since the inception of Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu's administration.

Met in a totally decay states, roads across Abia, Aba in particular, are being selected and reconstructed base on their economic value or impact in improving the daily activities surrounding the lives of common Abians.

Proclaimed as the common Governor, Dr. Ikpeazu has so far instituted a system of Governance that has minimized the hurdles of ordinary Abians by constructing, reconstructing and rehabilitating decayed and dilapidated roads abandoned for several years. This road infrastructural revolution of the Ikpeazu led government has skyrocketed a significant increase in investors seeking business opportunities in Abia State. This strategy has also been seen as major instigator agent of the increas in the State's Internally Generated Revenue (IGR).

It is no gainsaying the fact that Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu has done so well in all sectors encapsulated in his five pillars of development, particularly in road infrastructure, no wonder the recent thunderous endorsement by Abia Traders who stormed the Streets of Umuahia in supporting the Governor to run for reelection come 2019.

With more than 134 road projects in view, it has therefore become pertinent for every Abian and resident to rally behind the preforming Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu for a continuity of his unprecedented performance in just three years and counting.
