Is anyone coming to Caboolture or USC. Contact me for accomodation.
Re: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by Amy3090: 1:10pm On Jul 09, 2018
Do not rely on anyone, I repeat, do not rely on anyone here in aussie unless is your immediate family. Infact, no one is willing to take extra stress. Unless you are contacting people for directions or general questions, no body has time or money to give you. Come for your studies prepared and pray for a job.
Be careful with accomodation, certain people are just snitches and they smile to disguise. Trust God only. Pray pray and pray!!! Congrats to everyone. I was only lucky to get a job without the cert 111 and it took 2 months so you will need to be patient. When coming, bring money to registrr for individual support course(disability, age care, etc). It will assist you in getting a job. Do your first aid and CPR immediately, if you can drive a truck or forklift; great advantage. If you are still waiting for your grant, pray and trust Hod but in the meantime go and learn how to drive a forklift so when you come here yoy can apply for the test and license, then you start working immediately. Goodluck everyone.

Sirbantu:
Application lodged 25th of April.
Docs submitted
COE
Bsc and Pgdip certificates
Travelling histories
SOP
Letter of Sponsorship from my brother
No bank details required
Data page
Yellow card
No police certificate

3weeks after my application I was invited by the justice department to explain the reason why I didn't notify them of my previous Canadian student visa refusal and they are not sure I have even visited canada as I claimed in my travelling history.
So I wrote a letter of clarification and included my Canadian student visa refusal letter and my flight boarding passes, pictures of places I visited in canada, immigration stamps, clear picture of valid Canadian visitors visa on my passport.
To God be the glory I was granted today.

Congrats on your grant bro; please I want to know if it was a natural justice letter they sent you

Jobs to get without wasting 2 months are construction and landscaping jobs through agent.. i believe White card is more essential than first aid. With white card, you can get warehouse jobs. Factories. Construction and other labour job which you can easily save up to do age care course just like @ Amy described. finding age care course once you get there will take 2 to 3 month except on special cases......

And of course you can't rely on anyone.the terrain here is different but Nigerians need to show love..asians and kenya help each other but we have some Nigerians who likes to show off like they have been in Australia for a long time hence no new comer should be better than them....
But in all, we can only trust in God as this guy has said despite all issues ...............

Dear all,
Pls my question is whether i can apply for Aussie PR as primary applicant with my my wife as dependant while my wife applies as primary applicant and i will become her dependant?
Dear Fobak203,

Thanks so much for your swift response. I really appreciate it. I studied French language (major) with 2:1 here in Nigeria. And I think I meet the financial requirements. I have a family of 3 and I really need to know which is the best possible route to relocate to Australia both to get good job, and secure permanent Residence for my family.

Would you advice securing a job there first? While i am still here, is it even possible? Or trying to get enrolled into a university for a Masters Program, and secure a job while studying. And really boss, what's the very first thing I need to do?

Kindly advice.
Thank you. [/quote]

How good is the school and the cost of living there?
Any idea of the school's ranking in Australia, specifically the Public Health Masters program.
Thanks.

The Australian government no longer allows students visa 500 to undertake those course from certain providers. You could be lucky to get this job with just first aid and CPR. Just make sure you apply for jobs here with an aussie resume and not Nigerian resume. Overall, this is not to discourage anyone but please, come prepared. It is not a bed of roses like your agent must have told you. Be very genuine and do not commit any crime at all. Avoiding dating any girl here for the first 5 months on arrival. Be very cautious and vigilant. Do not engage in any activity that will jeopardize your visa. When you enter, don't go about buying stuffs. Carry enough cloths as they will tell you that clothes are cheap, my dear consider the exchange rate and save as much cents as you can. Just buy pot, plates and spoons. Most importantly, yoir studies is priority, once you fail any course, immi will be notified. Try not to fail fail, I trust niaja on this shaaa.

Hey guys. I have been following this thread for sometime and have benefitted from gurus and information here. Pls I need advise on my application.
I recently applied for a visa. However I got an Immis57 natural justice mail that my employer could not be verified. I work at a private lab in Lagos state. I approached my boss and he told me he was not actually registered yet with the medical lab council of Nigeria so I cannot even reply the natural justice cos its true. I was so mad at him that I quit my job immediately. I told my agent and I was adviced to withdraw the application to avoid a 3 year ban. I am just demoralized after spending time and money on this. Will I be able to reapply if I withdraw without consequences. I am supposed to resume this september. Will dibp inform my uni cos I intend to deffer to next year and den reapply. Pls i need advise. Thanks

This one weak Negan Ooo.. not all businesses are registered in naija,I dont think they know that....Chill, what the F are they even verifying,Boss, you are getting the VISA
My advice: Reply them and tell them the business is legit but yet to be fully accredited, (even unis in Aussie offer programs that are yet to be fully acredited), back it up with the company documents if your boss is willing to proviďe them, you don't have to be mad with him.. Don't withdraw the application..

It will end in praise, just hold on.

White card is more or less like HSE in nigeria.it is for induction into safety and health. To be aware of do's and dont and caution when working as construction worker, warehouse, factories and any other labour jobs...... that is even very vital yo have than first aid and you can easily get a job though stressful but it is for the main time

they all depend. disability jobs have more shifts and pays well as much as forklift jobs. You get good pay in both. Ideally, you should be concerned at getting any job first and then when you integrate into the system, you will be able to choose what you want.

I am sending information out because so many people don't knw how difficult it is here. The benefits are there but you have to be strong. I almost came home initially because the stress was just unbearable, but a lot of people are really strong. If I could survive it, then anyone else can. come with both first and 2nd semester sch fees. Collect receipt for every accommodation fees, make sure you sign an agreement and keep your copy as so many people would want to prey on your ignorance by kicking you outta the house at will and may even call the police on you saying you are trespassing on their property, the police are gonna request for a rental agreement if you claim you are a genuine tenant.
First aid and CPR tests are not expensive, virtually every job would request for it. If you are a nurse or a doctor or those sort of professions with laboratory etc, then it wont be difficult for you to get a job in hospitals. Say you have experience when applying for a job. Just ask for aussie resume, let people here send you a copy of theirs.

overall, be very careful what to say and who you say it to. So many snitches and people are gonna misinterpret you and you are already on watchlist. If you can, DO NOT DATE ANYONE ON YOUR FIRST 6 MONTHS HERE. focus on your studies and try as much as you can to get a job. you know come to look woman or man. NA study and hustle, when everything is balanced, you will know and carefully start a relationship; if you wish to.

Remember to save money for a car and even if you are unable to buy one and an employer asks if you have a car, just say YES!

Hi, I do NOT think you need to withdraw your application cos you have little or nothing to worry about.
IMO its either the contact you provided wasn't reachable or your company isn't present on the web or you did not include in your application third party evidence that could be independently verified.
Nonetheless, I strongly suggest you get CAC docs,ie cert, registration docs and /or tax doc or any other independent doc that contains your employer phone number.
