The present Jamb registrar insist that all universities must show their candidate's jamb score including post utme. Jamb score is 50% while post jamb is 50%. Jamb score is divided by 8 while post utme is by 2. To be able to get your desire course of study, you must score high in both exams not just one.
Secondly the course of study and the previous cut off point should serve as a guide for students. This time around, Jamb will be strict because they are the ones to admit students not universities. If a candidate scored 69 and another scored 68, the former will be given admission while the latter may not get. But if the latter is given, the university will be questioned by Jamb.

Courses like Medicine, Engineering, Law,Pharmacy, Nursing, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting and among others are competitive.
