Same product, same company, different countries. There is slight variations in their nutritional composition though.

Thank you.

@ Droyal, this is the picture. I think i’ve used the one from Netherlands too. That one from Mexico forms seeds if you mix it in pap and gave my baby terrible loose stool.

Thanks mamas. I will be on the lookout to avoid the Mexico brand, the major thing I used to look out for is production and expiry date.

Okay. I won't anymore. I can't even bear the screams when I do press it.

This evening I saw it looking like it had pus on one side. I'll take a picture upon his next diaper change.

Thank you
I wonder why they asked you to be pressing it in the first place, cos they always stressed it to mother's hear not to press it at all. Just apply penicillin, that's all.

queensnow abeg come and look at it if you can decode this one because me I didn't experience eela and don't know much about managing it.

My advice is, march to elewe omo by yourself and ask for the red leaf. Otherwise google the picture (red acalypha), you may just see it to pluck around you. Bathe your baby with water it's been infused in, do not give your baby anything to ingest biko

Yes the leaf is for eela and the stem but I don't know of the white one that looks like seed probably that one is to be blended dry and add to ori to rub on the affected area.
Just use it to bath ur baby but don't give him to drink eela herb is not meant to be ingested by an infant until 1yr.
U can buy cacatin and apply

Good day mamas, thanks to u all for keeping d thread alive! I have a naughty but very serious question to ask

I'm almost 6months postpartum and haven't seen my period, hence it is possible to get pregnant without seeing AF? Am I free to continue "rough play"? What are my chances of getting/not getting pregnant? I'm not emotionally, psychologically, physically, financially ready for another baby.

As for me, anything agbo or herbs, I don't even want to hear it at all I already stood my ground from day1. My hubby too knows my stand hence, he has already told his mum that aside breastmilk, nothing else is to be given to my baby. During this colic issue, she was almost suggesting one herb hubby told her no. You wouldn't have allowed her go this far in the first place now it will be difficult to tell her no. These babies are too fragile and delicate for we mothers to be pumping things into their small system. Just apply wisdom and be careful as some MIL can be naughty sometimes. The day my own was massaging my baby's body with hot water when we just arrived from the hospital, I asked her what about the head? Instead of her to tell me her reason she can't massage the head jejely, she was murmuring something in annoyance in her dialect me I just kept a straight face. She had this feeling of I'm teaching her her job. I later told DH he said she said since baby didn't pass through the birth canal as per CS, no need massaging that the head shape is OK. I wonder why she didn't tell me that and she was almost taking offence undecided...you are the one that carried your child for 9months you also know the pains. Those old women actually mean well for our babies but some of their practices are old fashioned this is the 21st century!

Thank you ma

I gave in to the red flower cos I've heard of it and the ela was not clearing as expected. Just didn't bargain for herbs.

No drinking is involved o. For how long would baby bath with it? Is it until the skin returns to normal colour? Or there is a time frame for use?

Good Evening Mamas

My baby is two months now has been developing this rash since 2 weeks old. It started just on the forhead and is now on his neck, arms, legs, and back. The doctor thinks it is just heat rash and will go with time. We powder him and only dress him in a shirt and diaper. The apartment is airconditioned.

Have you seen this before? How can we stop it from spreading?

You are 100 percent possible to get pregnant.Pls if you are not ready as you said, protect your self.
Since your period has not returned, you wouldn't know when it would, thus, you wouldn't know your fetile day.So the probability of conceiving is high.
Please stop d rough play and go for family planning.Thats if you are not ready yet.
All the best ma.

If you're not ready then go and take precautions. It is very possible to take in without seeing your period. You're not free to continue rough play o, if you know you're not ready then do the needful.

Thanks for the observation. The one thing I actually noticed was the variations in their nutritional information. Also, the scoop measurement per 100ml of water for the France differs from that of Mexico. if you don't check very well, you won't even notice all these things.

You should have done family planning or you use condoms. You can go talk to your gynaecologist for options. May God give you the wisdom to make the right decision.
