You know nothing about Nigeria. All the boys would have been rescued if it was Nigeria, even with some of us wishing and clandestinely putting spoke in the wheel of success.
I don't understand how you boys downplay this country. Every country has its ups and down but the media in other countries manage to portray the good side more to the world. But here, the media fabricate all sort of lies, hates, exaggerate for their selfish interest. Others are contributing their best while few others are pulling down in order to scorn.

The world would still rally around Nigeria to rescue those boys. Nigeria has done severally among the committee of nations. Forget what you read on social media and print media.

All 12 boys and their football coach have been rescued from a Thai cave after an 18 day ordeal, the Thai Navy SEALs said in a Facebook post, adding they were "safe".

"All 12 'Wild Boars' and coach have been extracted from the cave," the post said, adding "all are safe" and signing off with a simple "Hooyah".

Four divers who stayed with the group were still to emerge, it added.

Eight of the boys were brought out on stretchers over the first two days - four on Sunday and four on Monday.

British divers found the 13, huddled on a muddy bank in a partly flooded chamber several kilometres inside the complex, on Monday last week.

The eight boys brought out on Sunday and Monday were in good health overall and some asked for chocolate bread for breakfast, officials said.

Two of the boys had suspected lung infections but the four boys from the first group rescued were all walking around their hospital beds.

They are still being quarantined from their parents because of the risk of infection and would likely be kept in hospital for a week to undergo tests, officials said.

Four more of the boys were carried on stretchers out of the labyrinthine Tham Luang cave on the Myanmar border at dusk on Monday, bringing to eight the number brought out after two rescue pushes on successive days.

People across Thailand, and the world, have cheered the rescue operation, including at the Mae Sai Prasitsart school where six of the trapped boys are students.

Welldone to the guys who rescued them. If it had happened in Nigeria,OYO would have been their case. I pray earthquake or tsunami kind of storm does not happen in Nigeria because our meteriology dept does not have the technology to know when such would happen and warn Nigerians.

If it were to be my country, some people will be chanting "I Blame Buhari" while some set are gonna be shouting "I pray God save them"... and after two days or so, everyone moves on

I've followed this particular news aptly in the last few weeks and I must say we have a long way to go. And it's beyond our military and rescue operations might but down to the very mindset of every single Nigerian out there.

The Thais are amazingly altruistic and selfless.

God has done his part for Nigeria, Nigerians should do theirs.

Where exactly did we get it wrong??
sentiments...many of our decisions are driven by sentiments not reason. Another is that we don't really value human life so we can't really make d kind of sacrifices Asians make. Don't b deceived by our religious disposition. We are just religious but far from God. D Thai's & most Asians are Buddhist who we consider " sinners" based on our major religions. In a case like this definitely leadership has a role 2 play& it's something we don't have. We just have people who want personal glory. Others will misappropriate funds meant 4 supplies

i remember when d river Niger overflowed it's banks in 2012. Many people lost their homes&had 2 camp in schools. Various state govts made provision 4 these folks but guess what? Those in charge of distribution were actually stealing d provision made 4 these refugees.

I also can tell u of a governor who built a "world class" hospital just 4 show. Cause d beds that were used 4d hospitals commissioning, were borrowed & were returned after d commissioning was done by buhari.

I can also tell u of a lady who was kidnapped 4 rituals. Her disappearance was reported 2d police. Miraculously, she made it out of d ritualist den alive. While in hospital, d police were informed that she had been found. D police responded by saying that when she recovers, she should report 2d station.

U don't need d media 2 fabricate anything in Nigeria. If there are good things 2 report in Nigeria, nobody will fabricate lies. In fact, most true horrid stories about Nigeria aren't even reported. Truth is, we need 2 learn 2 place more value on human life in Nigeria. D killings in Benue&plateau clearly show were we stand as a nation

See if it was here the following would happen

who will blame buhari? Its buhari that will blame someone or something, maybe pdp or gaddafi, 4d situation instead of thinking of solution. In d first place, he might not even no d boys are missing until like one week b4 d person behind his twitter handle will post one weak statement after which he will set up a committee. Femi adesina will add insult to injury&insult anyone who cries out 4 urgency. As 4 prayer, churches hardly pray 4 national issues these days. No one cares. D 3rd option is d most likely scenario
