No stainless steel railings either. I went for wrought iron with special mahogany on top of the railings. Old school type.

Nice to hear that someone has already done this successfully. I take it that you procured it all in Nigeria. If you did, would you mind recommending your contractors? I am planning on using the same for a project in Ibadan.
