The truth is that there are thousands of highly talented visual artists across this country. But tribal differences and ethnic sentiments makes all of us so afraid of each other.

What stops Ambode, or any state at that, from organizing a yearly state/national competition for visual artists and artisans? Afterall, having such a yearly competition would engage the youth, showcase our cultures, expose the many Kareems in the country, and create jobs as well as spur other economic opportunities. We do this in sports, why not for artisans and even farmers?

Ofcourse, that can't be done because when you're in government in Nigeria, you are barred from thinking. Our leaders are allergic to creative thinking and business-mindedness, to the extent that the only way to create jobs is to enroll people into the civil service where there is zero productivity and zero value for the salaries they're paid.

I was pleasantly surprised to read that he has an instructor.

His Parents deserve commendation.
