you are absolutely right but i don't think you are permitted to do it in all the parts plus you shouldn't even ask for clarification too many times; that says a lot about ones comprehension.I cant even remember many of these tips again. grin

So sorry about your score. The PNP route is not an easy route. It should be the last resort......Try to relax, practice harder and then retake your IELTS test.

It can be disappointing I know, but please you cannot give up now, age is on your side, retake the test after good preparations. If you do not have a second degree, you might want to start that as well, make hay while the sun shines. Cheers
@beeodun
300 or 1500cad for pnp is no way near three more IELTS registrations. Once your way to ITA is ielts, keep redoing after preparations. You will hit it.

They now have an option whereby you will not even pay the HST to start with, if one then goes to pick the wrong option, one would not get a refund. It is easier for them.

I have posted it before but u will still see folks looking for 233cad option. WES don tire and has freed itself, people no still gree them rest.

Please I need urgent help concerning this statement you made, I got a mail from Wes on Monday stating Wes does not evaluate ATS however that they can evaluate my degree certificate so I should respond if they should proceed with my evaluation. My question is how did yours get evaluated? Is there something I need to do now before the evaluation is completed? Do I need to call their customer service or something coz I spent money o to process the transcript, cleared my outstanding bills with Ican and still send document to Wes via dhl only for them to tell me it can’t be evaluated, please help a friend urgently, thanks

I am a silent reader but I do try to give back when I can. Got my WES evaluation report back today and to further address the ATS verification, I can confirm it comes back positive canadian equivalent is '1 year of college level certificate'

I know for Manitoba before you can be invited you have to have a family there. For Saks your job has to be listed on the required NOC. For NOva Scotia, you have to apply as soon as it opens (you know a lot of people are also gunning the site
More details can be gotten

My advice is to give ielts one more push. You need at least an 8 in Listening. Register with BC again. The result below shows someone who can thrash this thing.

Hi. Pls I just got my Mod Ielts result(annoyingly shocking) LRWS- 7.5,8,7,8.5 at 2nd attempt. I’m 26yrs and have calculated & arrived at 405 alone and 396 with hubby. Frankly,I’m tired as well as pressed for funds. I want to give PNP a trial—must I have someone in this Saskatchewan,Nova Scotia or Manitoba to get their certificate because I’m only aware of a relative in Ontario but I heard theirs is so expensive.

Kindly respond. Thanks.

Hi,

So someone told me something similar and from what I can see a new certificate is being issued for ATS and the examining body is ABWA mine was issued in 2006 and ICAN was the examining body, seems like the certificate issued by the new body is not being evaluated by WES

At what stage does ones age seizes to affect his/her PR journey?
I initially thought it's post ITA, but on a 2nd thought, I'm having a feeling that it might still have effect after AOR. When, VO will start processing the application, from MED to IP1 downwards. At this stage, what happens when next birthday clocks in the middle of this?
Does the VO stop the processing based on the drop of points due to new age? Especially when the new CRS scores is below the last draw scores or the draw that gave the applicant the ITA.
I'm just thinking aloud here.

Your age locks the day you receive your ITA. Even if your birthday is afterwards and your score drops below the CRS score, it wont affect it. Its locked in.

Bless the Lord with me people... I am free from IELTS. Actually told myself it would be the last whether good or bad.
I had planned not to check my result till evening because my previous three attempts had me crying all day in the office and I end up having a bad day, but anxiety got the best of me.
Test day I got confused during the map section which left me unprepared when the next section began (Matilda n co). I counted 9 questions I wasn't sure of and I gave up and even started planning and gathering docs for Nova Scotia PNP.

1st attempt LRWS: 7.5,7.5,7.5,8 BC
2nd attempt LRWS: 8,7.5,6.5,7 MOD
3rd attempt LRWS: 8,8,6.5,8 MOD
4th attempt LRWS: 9,7.5,7,7.5 BC

Only God could have done it.
I have been a silent reader on this thread and I've learnt so much; I joined cochtrane's webinar for Listening after my first attempt. God bless you sir. I have gotten most of the requirements ready except PCC and medicals.
If you are still on the ielts journey, don't give up. I know it's easy for me to say now, but it's the truth. Pick up from the last try and push forward.
Besides, I think MOD writing is stricter, I think I wrote better essays in my second and third attempts. I ran back to BC since I did well at first attempt even being not so prepared. It's just my opinion though.
Thanks to all the beautiful contributors here; you guys are the best. Plus I enjoy d drama too.

Congrats on your eventual IELTS success birthed by sheer grit and determination! That's the spirit!

I kinda concur with you on the bold part above about MOD.
I wrote IELTS 3 times, though I got the result that I needed on the 2nd attempt. My writing test with MOD which was my last attempt returned a band 6.5- guess what, it was my best "writing" of all the 3 attempts grin grin whilst the first two attempts with British Council delivered band 7 on each occasion...and to think this MOD writing is a queer reoccurring matter leaves a bad taste. sad

I pray ITA falls on you soon bro.

NB: My MOD test returned: LRWS- 8, 8, 6.5, 7 (I can understand the frustration, the disappointment and the thought of going back into the trenches again for many here...wow) I pray for those writing and re-writing the IELTS that everything-the weather, the difficulty level of the test, the state of your body and mind, time usage etc- will work in your favour to make it your last attempt IJN!

It will end in praise IJN!

Once you’ve gotten ITA, your age points are locked and further increase in age will not reduce your points.

See this:

Change for which candidates are not penalized for losing points:

Candidate’s birthday occurs after an ITA was issued (see the Exemption to section A11.2: candidates whose birthday occurs after they receive an ITA section).

Also this:

"When a change in age results in the candidate no longer meeting the MEC or having their recalculated CRS points score fall below the lowest points score in that round of invitations, officers should consider applying the public policy to exempt applicants for permanent residence from certain age-based requirements between invitation to apply and application, based on section A25.2. This consideration can result in an exemption from the refusal of an application under section A11.2.

This public policy also grants an exemption to applicants who may be refused for failing to meet FSWC program requirements when their birthday occurs between the ITA and e-APR.È

I already answered you on this yesterday. The 1st option is what you have based on the ECA body that successfully evaluates your CISA or ICAN as equivalent of Canadian degree.

Permit me to also share my joy as I have finally made it through the IELTS stage.
First attempt 24th April MOD with loud speakers LRWS 6.5 7.5 6.5 7.5.
Second attempt 30th June BC headset LRWS 8.0 7.5 7.0 7.5.
Even though I am a passive member, I have gained a lot from this trend and I can't help but share my happiness and gratitude to you all. Jah will take us all to our desired destinations. Amen

If he has worked and it is not in work history, it should be in personal history, else, it is misrepresentation. So how will it look when the VO goes to Linkedin and sees jobs that are not mentioned anywhere?

Or how will it look if such "an unemployed" spouse were to cough out N6M for POF? Did he steal it? Even if he is self employed, he would state it. Sometimes we may not see nexus between different bits of information but I assure you, the VOs connect all these dots. I totally agree with @einsteino

LOL Y'll need to calm down with this misrepresentation tale!!..if he has included a work experience in his work history it is going to populate in his personal history, that is what i said. if there is any work experience worth adding which you can easily provide support for then go ahead. He said they were multiple short period contract jobs that he cant readily provide supporting documents, in such an instance i still stand by what i said, he can exclude it and just put unemployed. if it is in his linkedin page or there is any part of that experience included in his application then he will have to include it. At the end of the day its everyone to his own. whatever was not relevant to my application i excluded and would do it again. Why look for means to complicate your process, PPR Clinchers in the past have said this before, the unemployed status was used for periods that they were actually unemployed or just could not explain/adequately support the position they were at at that time. By the way there are a thousand means one could come up with funds its not just through savings from work. if the inflow from the contracts where really that significant and contribute to his savings he can choose to include it but i havn't seen anywhere on CIC website or on this forum neither have i heard that a prerequisite for getting PPR is that your savings/funds for POF must tally with your income or whatever you are insinuating. All you need to show is proof you have the money and any bulk inflows within last 6months. Please you people should relax and not complicate or overthink this process oo.
