Truth is Yoruba never gave Edo cloth, exporting of clothing was a major source of income for Benin kingdom in the 16th century. The clothing was exported to Yoruba lands.
The Ife arts excavated in early 20th century were dated to the 12th century. Benin arts are much older than that. None of the Ife arts found were dated older than benin’s..
if Ife have art works older than any of Benin art works it is yet to be found.

the Yorba of ife have no art work, please don't confuse excavation with actual fourniture decorating a palace. Edo artwork was stolen from Oba palace whereas "ife artwork" was excavated and nothing indicates that it belongs to the people who were living in ife when the excavation took place. It is more likely that it is a remnant of Benin empire. If the yorubad had artwork, then it would have been found by the brits without recourse to excavating .

Please shut up about sugbon eredo. If u cannot give a detailed account of who built it, when it was built and the purpose for it then it is a useless structure and cannot be compared to Benin moats and rampants that have a story and rich history behind it.
The problem with you yorubas and ur structures is that it is full of darkness, no known history. Just like u said, Eredo is recent and also is Yoruba history which is recent to 17th century. Even Ife you don’t know who founded Ife or when.
