You are the problem! Is Nigeria most diverse or larger than USA, yet USA is a model in development? Or the almost monolithic Syria in peace? Here in Africa, South Africa is very diverse and the leader in Africa!
Stop comparing america with USA. USA is a country of immigrants while Nigeria is occupied by indigenous tribes. Why not compare Nigeria with Europe it Asia? Why always America?

APC is for southwest. PDP is for southeast and southsouth( excluding edo). APC( ACN) is for Yoruba people from southwest to middle belt. Even saraki dare not try to leave of he wants to become politically relevant
even Dogara and sokoto state governor too.for saraki he might still win but it will be very difficult. 2011 election was very difficult for him but was still able to win the then ACN orange revolution guys (Belgore) but that of 2015 was very easy for saraki cos of Buhari change factor.he didn't even need to bribe electorates or perhap he dd very little inducement

D election in Ekiti state is really disappointing, a charade. A situation where d innocent electorate is glaringly being induced with cash as captured by d BBC put a big shame on our democracy. D two gladiators are involved in ds messy exercise, wooing voters to d highest bidder. How can Nigeria b better for it if a candidate buy his way through to govt house. Am afraid d kind of mind boggling amount being dished out to the innocent electorates who may not b aware dat dey re mortgaging not only dia future bt d children's future for #4000 or #5000. D big question here is how will d contestants recoup back ds funds being spent. I bet u, d first thing d winner will do is to win back ds massive investment wit interest b4 u think of any kind of meaningful project execution that will better the life of the citizenry. Ds same pple rushing to collect cash where d same pple dat collect rice (stomach infrastructure) last time dat d state, directly or otherwise paid for. At d end civil servants salaries could not b paid, being first line victims of ds nonsense. I should think dat ds state dat is blessed with so many Professors & called d fountain of knowledge will know d adverse effects of what went down in Ekiti today and would hv educate d pple ahead of ds election. Stomach infrastructure and cash has become a norm in Nigerian politics. Who will stop it. My heart bleed watching all ds ugly scenarios.

So is it PDP that ruined Nigeria for 16years that should win elections?

APC has barely spent 3yrs,why not give APC at least 4 more years too?

IF PDP had solved significant part of Nigeria's socio-economic and security problems in 16years,by now we will be talking less of bad economy, electricity, corruption, ranching, killings, fuel importation etc.

Rubbish!

This commentary by Nfora, really touched me cry

I voted for Apc in the last general election. .I was enduring hoping for the change they promised instead things were falling apart..may God forbid Apc to rule in ekiti...and I'm praying and hoping mimiko come up wit another strategy to collect my state (ondo) from Apc...dey are blood suckers from all indications...the greatest mistake Nigeria make was falling to their sugarcoated campaign promises

Have been waiting for this. My brother God bless you. I believe the 4k those in ijare, road block, akure south and other places received for voting for apc should still be enough and even remain till now.

Mimiko was the devil then to them after the 8 years face lifting projects that touched every corners and transformed the state from mess.

Its quite painful people fell for a party and an individual with no agenda and promise.

God bless Iroko, God bless Jegede, God bless people who can perceive the future, and to hell with those with no programs for the masses, God punish those who categorizes pensioners as died people, may the wrath of God be on those with no sympathy for fellow man irrespective of their religion.

You either accept or discredit this bomb , according to a pdp apologist currently in ekiti just informed me that " at it is , expect abracabra happens " , fayemi has won this election .
Remember i told you the person is a pdp apologist who's also currently an observer in the just concluded ekiti gubernatorial election , let me also state here that ,
It will be so easy for jagaban and co to manipulate elections in a yoruba speaking state to a non yoruba speaking states . In this part of the world , we've attached so much ethnicity to politics and this reason will be the motive of jagaban and co to rather win ekiti and lose imo or even edo ( they do not care ) .
Lets put the jokes and antics apart , do you guys think 2014 election was free and fair ? This just concluded election is a repeat of 2014 . I have not said fayemi is a messiah , but a character of fayose dont last politically in a yoruba terrian ( You cant be insulting pmb and think tinubu will smile at you ).
You guys can go to bed and have a sound sleep , pdp just lost this election , courtesy survival of the fittest , while fayose's spite also hunt him badly . I will be lurking somewhere to laugh fayose's die hards who'll continue to console themselves ( I wont reply them ).
And to my noisy neighbors , apga is your heritage and a political party you should resurrect and not pdp/apc ( the party mostly dominated by the people you called slaves/animals and your enemies).
Cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeers.

Chief, I wonder how some of you reason. It's never about Political parties in any of the developed countries. When have you heard that a political party constructed a road or built any infrastructure? All our Politicians are guilty of the same offence, Saint Buhari inclusive. They have made us their spectators because they understand how to cajole us into cheering them, even when they are under-performing. Nigeria will change the day our eyes would open
