Hi Guys, I am asking for a friend. She is about to submit her application but her reference letter from her employer is dated sometime in Dec 2017. Does the date matter or she needs to get a new reference letter? Please help

That was the info I filled in my EE and I got LAA to apply to Manitoba now. Can I still adjust the work history in my EE after I had gotten LAA to Manitoba? cos am thinking if I go ahead with that work history for Manitoba, maybe it may not fly?

IMO, I think she can submit it that way. She could however explain in her LOE that she had gotten the reference letter since that time and still work there.

This is all in your imagination. Married or single is not a criteria for assessing applications. Hope you're not worried though?

cic requires only the letter. However people add their statement of account especially those that don't have their POF for six months or more.

My worry is that I read majority of the PPR recipient on this forum included their statement of account. I didn't include my statement of account as I was thinking the first one will suffice. My question is, was I wrong not to have included the statement of account? Has anyone gotten PPR using only the letter they got from the bank as POF? Could this delay one's application or lead to ADR?. I will appreciate if anyone could throw more light on this for me. Thank you.

April 18 until today is less than 3 months.IRCC says 6 months processing time. So why are you worried? I know people get it in less than 6 months. However, that's just pure luck. Going by the assessment time I don't think you should be worried.

I got my ITA and uploaded my documents for submission since April 18 and since then, the only update i have gotten is that i have passed medicals..i check my profile every 2 days incase i missed the email alert but its still the same and i dont know if its normal..pls those of u that are more experienced can enlighten me. @DadR, the info am talking about that I filled in my EE is my work experience that should have started Nov but due to the fact that I graduated June, I then filled July as my start date. I was supposed to put from Nov, 2012-Pressent, making 5 years but I put July, 2012-present, making 5 years. What do u think can be done. and have gotten LAA to apply to Manitoba. Thanks

Ok, I don't think it will pose any challenge if you make the correction. So far you still meet the cut-off for which you were issued an LAA, you will be fine.

I understand. But think about it this way, maybe if you had been too comfortable in that job, you wouldn't have been pushed to apply for Canadian PR Now you are leaving there for something better and permanent

Hello @fm90, this happened to hubby. WES said his reference number was not written on the package. It took 3 calls and 2 e-mails over a period of 3 weeks for it to reflect on his account. So you need to call them and if possible, rake for them so it can be rectified speedily.
