I haven’t been or read the comments on this thread for almost 2 weeks. Didn’t care much for the level of disgusting tribalism on here.

But both sides, let’s put our differences aside. This fight is unnecessary and it’s not intelligent of us to be fighting each other. Instead let’s uplift each other up, respect each other’s cultures and unite.

Our ancestors got along and lived and respected one anothers tribe

Ever since the coming of the Europeans and their divide and rule tactics we’ve had animosity with each other.

If you go to church and your a Christian then practice what your pastor preaches to you and spread love and unity and bonding.

Be optimistic and positive and show love to your brother regardless of tribe

Actually our ancestors were visited by Europeans who took notes of what they saw and those notes are available in European libraries. Besides colonisation was in the Era of my great grand father which is not so long ago, there are still many paper traces of precolonial Benin Kingdom. The problem is not lack of authentic documents, it is that some people just reject the documents as biased because the truth doesn't favor yoruba claims of superiority.

If you research Ada history you will find out that it was in existence since the time of the Ogisos.. Oranmiyan did not bring Ada to Benin.
