Music is a part of human existence, it has been with men ever since man was created. Music is magical, it gives pleasure. No one can fully understand the effect of music on human soul. People listen to music for a lot of reasons, some for pleasure, others to calm themselves, etc. Though we all derive different benefits from music, most people dont give much thoughts about how these music are being produced.

Music Comprises of 3 Basic Elements which are:
1. Instrumentals
2. Lyrics
3. Rhythm

.1. INSTRUMENTALS
We would talk extensively on the music instrumentals part and its functions in the overall music production. Music instrumentals or beats are the soul of the music. Without the instrumental, music does not exist. the first step in music production is selecting a beat or instrumental. An artiste can either outsource the production of the instrumental to beat/music producers or download free instrumentals from online platforms like https://instrumentalstv.com, https://hipstrumental.com, https://instrumentals.com.ng (Nigeria) and others. The artiste after having the music beat can enter a studio for music recording.

.2. LYRICS
The second most important element after the instrumental is the music lyrics. Music lyrics are the words the artiste sings or raps with his mouth. The lyrics is being recorded through a microphone in a low/minimal noise studio/room. This is done by music producers.
The producers and artistes discuss and works together to ensure the music is well recorded and its in sync with the beat. After the recording stage, the beat producers goes ahead to mix and master the song.
Music Mixing is the process of combining all the individual recordings or tracks into the song. The process also includes balancing the recordings, fine-tuning the sounds, etc.
Mastering is the process of combining collections of songs into a playlist or an album.

.3. RHYTHM
In simple definition, rhythm is the arrangement of sound as they move through time, it can aslo be explained as a specific pattern of a song. Rhythm is an important element that determines whether a song would be successful or not. Choosing a good and unique rhythm can make your song enjoyable and easily remembered by the listeners.
A good music producer must have good music rhythm Skills.
