Sunday Oliseh Hilariously Congratulates France On Their Victory by TheArticleNG(m): 10:32am On Jul 16, 2018
Sunday Oliseh, former Super Eagles player has congratulated France in a hilarious manner, highlighting the heavy African flavour in Didier Deschamps’ World Cup winning set-up.

Les Bleus defeated Croatia 4-2 to emerge champions at the Luzhniki Stadium on Sunday evening.

The victorious squad have a huge number of their players, including goalscorers Paul Pogba and Kylian Mbappe, with diverse African heritage.

And with any country from the continent yet to hoist the prestigious trophy, the former Super Eagles coach joined an array of fans to acknowledge Africa’s input to France’s second World Cup triumph.

The football manager wrote:

“Finally, Africa wins its first World Cup but in French colours lol,” Oliseh tweeted.

“Congratulations France, well deserved. Love the Croatian spirit though & their great team spirit.”

Nigeria, Egypt, Senegal, Tunisia and Morocco were the five teams that represented Africa at this edition of the World Cup, but none was able to make it past the group stage in Russia as the continent marked another forgettable appearance at the grandest stage of football.

Everyone now is claiming france players to be African players. Rubbish!
Develope Africa and see Africans beat teams like brazil, germany and Belgium like small boys.
But no, they prefer corruption and disorganization. Now look at them claiming what white men took time to develop and organise.

In other news, ighalo still dey our team. Do something about him. That's the first step to making our super eagles real winners.

It is not Africa that won the world cup rather its is blacks who doesn't think like Africans. African players will choose money rather than improve their skills, Africa F.A will collect bribe to lose or to play incompetent players. Tell me which kind of mentality be that? If ask me I will say that is a mentality of a failure!

congratulations to France

Though the most of the players can trace their origin to Africa but i can bet if they were congregated into a team in any African country, they wouldn't have made it happen.

That's right. 1998, 20 years ago when France last hosted and won the World Cup, they had an almost all white players.
2018, 20 years later winning the World Cup again, the team is full of black players.

Who says climate change isn't real?

Even a world cup winning team of over 22 players you still won't find an 'arsenal fc' and 'liverpool fc' player amongst them

I think does people are allergic to Trophies

That was very unprofessional from someone of Oliseh's calibre.

We all need to know for everyone, there should be a professional side of you and personal side of you. Making such a statement that French people will find offensive will not help him in his professional pursuit and depicits a right/wrong image about his character.

He could have just said congrats France and in his living room watching with his friends he can say whatever he wants to say.

That is not true. Half or more of the players in the 1998 team were also black or Africans . Check it out. Were Thiery Henry and Patrick Viera white ?
