The Minister of Finance, Mrs Kemi Adeosun has been in the eye of the storm, and that is putting it mildly. While I believe that she may be the target of a conspiracy against her by persons on whose toes she may have stepped, (otherwise, who is still worrying these days about NYSC certificate?),

it seems she herself has not helped matters by refusing to say a word to explain her dilemma. If she thinks the matter will blow away, the fact that the Federal Government has now intervened with the unconvincing claim that a probe is underway is a sure recipe for mischief.



There are three weighty issues involved, in fact four: (1) she has been called a dodger. The NYSC Act does not permit anyone below the age of 30 to dodge a mandatory call to national service, except under circumstances that do not apply to her. At the time of her graduation from university, the Minister was 22 years old; (2) she is also being accused of forgery, or being an accessory to the act of forgery.

Is NYSC certificate the problem of Nigeria or incompetence and criminal mindedness of our executives. Obasanjo worked and exploited this country without nysc. You voted Buhari to become president of Nigeria without first school leaving certificate. Kemi although am not her fan graduated from the university right? The knowledge is there. If Adeosun can forge NYSC certificate, what makes you think she's not forging cheques or doing underhand business? She's supposed to be the finance minister, what confidence is the govt giving to potential investors considering the Finance minister forged her certs?

1st am not Yoruba. Am not member of APC. Am not a politician. How many cases of forged certificate have the society win against high level public servants? Where is the case of Buhari and Oshiomule Adams . It is distraction because the noise and prosecution will end on social media

My own NYSC certificate is here wasting away. Last last, I no use am.

Who NYSC certificate help? This is Nigeria a shithole country where you can get a job without NYSC certificate, if you know your way.

Am not happy too but then again we shouldn't just brush aside such anomaly as if it is the norm.
To expose govt deficiency is the job of opposition.

Why did she submit a fake and forged exemption certificate?
