And this is the town hosting 2018 African Athletics Championships August 1 - 5, ever since the hosting announcement Okowa blocked all roads in the state capital all in the name of patching and renovation. This is only a prove that Asaba have Zero infrastructure in 19years rule of PDP in the state. It's a shame that the state that receives the 3rd highest federal allocation is in perpetual comatose left in the hands of thieves like Okowa. I hope Delta State wakes up and chose a great leader outside the Ibori dynasty.

Flood in Asaba has been a recurring decimal every year;there is a drainage work going on now but i doubt if it will help Okpanam road that is always devastated by the flood shown here--time will tell
