*Lip balm/ makeup
*Snacks and drinks for after labour ( the hunger that strikes after baby is out is something else)
*Charger
*Big panties
*Peri bottle or any other plastic bottle with holes at the top. After VD, you spray warm water as you pee ( peeing after VD + tear can be painful ) this helps relieve the pain plus speeds up healing.
*soap, deodorant etc
*comfy clothes to go home.
* sanitary pad
* wet wipes for your bum ( water is best, but just in case)
Just think of anything that will make your hospital stay comfortable.

I think you just ask... where I did mine, I wasn’t expecting them to use 4d but the guy just felt like showing it to me in 4d.

Hurray!!! We started from the bottom now we are here .
Yes, we saw 1st trimester and ms dealt with us like it wasn't going to pass.
Some of us had to swallow chilled Eba, had special bowl for spitting, brushing our teeth was a vomiting session but look at us now , we've been there and done them all. Great is our God.

Congratulations on coming this far teamies, it hasn't been easy but definitely worth it.

We all are now safely in the 2nd trimester, may the rest of the journey be easy for us all. Amen
Our routine drugs are a vital part of this journey, please let's not forget that.
Stay faithful to it, its actually our partner on this journey.
I guess some of us must have had our 1st TT shot. For the rest of us who hasn't, our hospitals will let is know when It's time i guess.

B.S part 3
The night was a long one as the contractions were painful yet short. Morning came, hubby,my mom and I packed my bag into the car and drove off to the hospital. I got to the hospital by 9:30am and when I was checked I was 2cm dilated. I was checked in with my load and given a bed. It was still a funny journey as I was still cracking jokes with my husband and my mom. As at 1pm the contractions started hitting me very hard and it was no longer funny. I drank water and straight up vomited all the food I ate before entering the hospital. DH started crying after he saw me in serious pain. By 3 when the doctor checked me again I had progressed to 3cm. In my mind I was just like Which year will I complete the dilation?! Then a drip was fixed in my arm by 5pm, that was when I started to know pain. I started saying shouting “God, take please take this pain away,it’s too much for me” . I went to the toilet and I started purging. By 6pm, I was just 4cm dilated. I told my husband to please call the doctor to carry out a ceaserean section. My mom started rejecting and rebuking saying “stop that rubbish, it is not your portion in Jesus name”. By 2am doctor came to check me and I was just 5cm gone. That was when I told my husband to go and meet him to discuss with him. The doctor then told my husband that I wasn’t dilating the way I should and my baby was big but we should wait for the next 4hours and see if there would be any positive changes, if not then we opt for an ECS.

DH then came to tell me what he doctor said but I immediately took him to go back and tell him that I was not going to wait for even 10 minutes as I was ready for the surgery ASAP. The doctor came into the ward and I told him that I wanted to discontinue the drip and go for the operation immediately, he didn’t argue with me and did as I said then called my husband to come and sign the consent form, I forgot to mention that the doctor has broken my water since 5pm. I walked into the theater and said to my husband and mom that I would see them in a jiffy. I was given an injection in my spine to numb from my waist downwards. Not up to 15 minutes into the surgery my Son was brought out with his eyes wide opened and him screaming at the top of his lungs. He was taken to be cleaned and weighed. DH and my mom were screaming and taking God , I could hear their voices from the theater. I was stitched back and taken to the ward. I got there and still saw my LO eyes still wide open wondering where he was.


I bless the name of the lord for a wonderful journey and I pray that God Almighty grant other waddling mamas a safe delivery and make our children be great people in the society. Thank you very much mamas for a wonderful journey, we are porting to the new born thread.

Be calm.
If its just a trace then you don't need to worry, do the test and let the result come out before you start to panic.
Remember, no matter how hard you worry, there's little you can do about what is going on in there.
Reduce your sugar intake, take your walks and do your test.
My tummy ALWAYS measures way ahead of my scan by the time I'm in my 3rd trimester. Sometimes Dr say maybe I have fibroid or its twins but it always comes out as just a singleton and no fibroid anywhere.
Stay calm and be positive.
Thank God you're already in your 3rd trimester so you're close to the finish line.
