How did they dedicate the park to paganism?! So we're supposed to forget and discard our identity just because you and your fellow Christians are offended by a statue.

For so long you Christians have persecuted pagans, you've destroyed their worship places and brainwashed people into seeing them as evil but when they fight back you cry murder.

If you feel that park doesn't suit your beliefs look for another that does. Christianity isn't the only religion in Nigeria and we're tired of being held ransom by you cry babies.

If it was a statue of Jesus would you complain?!

Religion is a Scam....
The bible says men fall into sin when Adam and Eve eat the forbidden fruit....Anybody born after that were born sinners.
Why is it that when Jesus Christ was crucify for the sin men, anybody born after that were not saint? if the death of Jesus Christ is for remission of sin..then automatically, everybody on earth today should be saint... not sinner again.
if all of us are still born sinner, what it is the purpose of the death of Jesus to appeal God?
Religion is a scam indeed.

OP, there are streets in Nigeria named after churches. There are other large expanse of lands that are owned by churches and named after them e.g Life Camp etc. Is anybody complaining? I know you're not cause you are Christian and automatically a hypocrite. If you want to tear down a statue, a beautiful monument representing our/the Yoruba culture, then all these church/mission streets should be removed for the very same reason. Don't you agree? undecided
