Ekiti Has Been Liberated From Pdp’s Bondage – Aregbesola by dammy13(m): 10:29am On Jul 19, 2018
Osun State governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola yesterday said with the victory recorded by Dr Kayode Fayemi, governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress ( APC ) in the Saturday’s election, the people of Ekiti State have been liberated from the bondage they have been placed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) led government in the state.

In a statement made available to the media in Osogbo by his Media Adviser, Mr Sola Fasure, Governor Aregbesola also congratulated the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its candidate Dr. Kayode Fayemi describing the victory of the APC as a ‘hard fought and won battle that brought liberation to the people of Ekiti State’.

According to Governor Aregbesola, “The victory of our party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) came after a hard fought and won battle that brought liberation to the good people of Ekiti.

“It is also an indication of the rising popularity of the APC across Nigeria in a swift sweeping of the electoral stakes in the country that began in 2015 and continues till now.

“In spite of the challenges and the formidable opposition, the people of Ekiti stood behind the party and voted for our candidate on Saturday giving our party a fresh four year mandate to provide leadership and good governance.

“That victory signposts the wrap up of the South West by the APC, Ekiti State being the last bastion of the dying PDP dinosaur that has wreaked havoc in the region and Nigeria in general. It is a new dawn of progressivism in the South West and an opportunity to re-enact the golden era of Chief Obafemi Awolowo under whose progressive platform the region had unprecedented development, through regional integration and socio-economic cooperation.

“I therefore wholeheartedly congratulate Dr Fayemi, his running mate, the progressive family in Ekiti State and across Nigeria, the leadership and all members of our party that worked hard for this victory.

“On behalf of my family, the government and the good people of Osun, I wish him a fruitful and successful tenure in the service of the people of Ekiti."

The people of Osun State will be liberated from the bondage they have been placed by the All Progressives Congress (APC) led government in the state. Yoruba people said that PDP lost Ekiti Election because of Fayose owning 6 Months salaries. Let us wait and see if Apc will be voted out also in Osun State because Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola is owing 2 Years salaries.

PDP is still grasping at straws, wondering why its Fulani invasion propaganda met a brick wall in Ekiti.

PDP is still wondering why a people that have been deliberately impoverished by the ruling PDP governor, and kept on a subsistence ration of stomach infrastructure and monetary inducement as was done in 2014, would then collect such election funds paid by PDP only to vote for APC that was also paying as taught by PDP and the bitter lesson of 2014 loss on how to engage the Ekiti electorate.

In the end, APC in Ekiti has learnt valuable lessons from PDP and Fayose.

Ekiti Election was not about party, it was about the need to be free from Fayose's shackles of oppression, manipulation, non payment of several months of salaries and hunger.

You all are just bitter about the election cuz you want to brag online while those in the state feeling the real pain chose who they want. People of Ekiti already tasted fayemi's first tenure and decided against giving fayose a 3rd tenure. Fayemi definitely ain't the best option but he's way better than Fayose's stoge Eleka who couldn't express himself in front of the press. With this your dead idea, tellvme a sw state where fullani herdmen are killing or grazing presently.... Mtcheeeew

A failed propaganda that would have been successful among zombies and moro.ns.

One would think APC was not already the majority ruling party in Yorubaland, and Fayemi would be its first victory there or in Ekiti.

Take your defeated propaganda to Enugu and Anambra where it will surely be potent with the known mindset that is an epidemic there.
