FG has approved a 0% equity contribution for housing loans below 5 million naira. Once you're are up to 18years or above, working in the public or private sector, you are qualified. Simply go and look for a Primary Mortgage Institution(PMI) to secure the loan. It's your money and it is for a duration of at least 25yrs.

FG has also just approved the reduction in equity contribution for housing loans of 6 million naira to 15 million naira, from 20% to 10%. Go look for a PMI today and stop paying house rent, as you can now comfortably become a landlord, once you are 18 or above.

You can obtain NHF through your PMI within 3 to 5months if you have a serious and committed PMI. Please don’t let anyone deceive you on social media about this. Go and apply. Look for a developer that works with a PMI. You will get it.

FG just made life comfortable for us in the public and private sectors, so go and apply for a housing loan. Max is N15m though, but you can also apply for your spouse, too.

... You can decide to take this as political move, you may be right but do not blame those who see this a big opportunity to own a house anywhere in Nigeria.
