Just wondering what the problem could be for the Honda passport. Ever since the engine and gearbox was changed to toks I noticed N would come on the dash even when the car is in D. The car drives well and gear changes smoothly but I want to be sure that isn’t a problem that would later tell on the gear.

Have your transmission selector cable checked

So it does not affect the gear in any negative way?

just check the cable as adviced sir

Checking wouldn't have any effect but leaving it just the way it is would cause an adverse effect on gear.
