It took only one day for the police to arrest the culprit after it had been tracked. Infact it took only about 3 hours.

If you want everything to be speedy, report the case to the police, then after tracking inform them, and I bet you the culprit could even be caught on that same day.

Also, when the thief is caught , you must insist that he shouldn't be released until you get everything you spent in recovering your phone. Then you calculate every cost accrued in recovering the phone and he has to pay.
Thanks mahnn
I've already reported the case to the police. And I'm yet to get a response tho. It's been over 3 days now

[quote author=Amberon11 post=69571865]That's too sad. I tracked my phone using the IMEI number. That police man is also a scammer because I got my phone less that 24hrs after I tracked it and thief was arrested and stayed in cell for four days.

If you're serious and want to track your phone and get the person, it is very possible.

[/I'm very serious. Drop your number or email address.so we can chat. My pain is the police guy toying with my brain . Maybe he thinks am foolish ]

Police will not do anything. If you're waiting on the police you're wasting your time. But if you want to doubt me, then give them 3 more days and then call your IPO and ask him/her how they've gone with the case, if he doesn't give a reasonable response then know that you're just wasting your time with them.

Now I can help you and that is the truth,
but everything comes with a price because I will spend money too. If you can send me the IMEI number, I will track the phone and send you every detail of the person including the address, and contacts of the people he has been calling and their details too. So you don't have to worry. Your evidence right now is your IMEI number. Once the thief is caught he will pay every dime you spent in getting the phone recovered.

What if the person hasn't inserted a sim card to the phone yet...... Anyways thanks for your contributions. I just mailed you now

It is very unlikely that the person hasn't inserted a Sim card into the phone yet if it's been quite a while since the phone was stolen.

I'm so sorry about that. The worst part of all this is that it's usually insiders that perpetrate such acts. Let me ask you one question, do you have the carton of your stolen phone or do you have the IMEI number of the stolen phone?

I should still have it

That's means your phone can still be recovered.

Seen, but the tracking will cost money although not that much. It will cost 15k and the reason it's this cheap is because my cousin is the one doing the tracking. So if you're serious we can proceed. I'm not a scammer and have no intentions of scamming you so make your decision and let me know.

What rights do they have to detain mother and children at the police station? That is denying that woman Her fundamental human right. She should sue their ass. The human rights lawyer must make sure that woman and her children are compensated. Nonsense!!!

That was how someone stole my phone last month and I tracked it, involved the police and got him arrested, he stayed in cell for some days. Meanwhile his family kept calling and begging.

Will post the entire story soon and hopefully it grace's FP so that people can learn how to recover their stolen phones and hopefully phone theft can reduce too.

How were you able to track your stolen phone?
