Following the directive by President Muhammadu Buhari, 155 Nigerians who were stranded in Russia after the 2018 WorldCup tournament safely returned to the country on the night of July 20th in a chartered flight at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

That's the minister of foreign affairs there welcoming them. Under his leadership, I must say he has done extremely well. He takes quick action whenever issues of international affairs bordering on welfare of Nigerians is at stake.

But to be serious, I know for certain most of them would have sold off their businesses and properties thinking they were leaving Nigeria for good...what will they come back to now?

I know of a guy who was in his HND 2...he processed his Germany Visa...officially dropped outta school...sold off all he's got and his side business...screwed up his girlfriend...was boastfully circulating his traveling plans around town...he did left 4 Germany as planned...scaled thru the MMA..only to be deported back to Naija immediately he landed in Germany due to discrepancies on his Visa...it took him 6 years to recover 4rm it a little.

So it can be so hard on them...I am sure if it were to be Ger, France, Australia, USA, Canada, most of them would have vanished into thin air...but Russia is no hiding place for illegal black immigrants.

Lol, why covering face? They have it in mind to escape from Russia not knowing that in Russia there is no escape route, security monitor the movement in every neighbourhood, so no migrant is ready to hide you like they do in America and majority of the European countries. In Russia every citizen is an undercover agent and every new face is a suspect. Thank God they are back.

Many of them are bunch of idiots who think the word “Europe” means money, money and plenty of money. They think absconding will make life easy not knowing that without documents in Europe is life sentence to struggle and depression. If this one nor teach em lesson then nothing will. Many are even nairalanders and I am expecting a tale of the adventure soon.

Most of these travel agents deserves to be shot at close range.

Canceling return tickets is a common practice in Nigeria. The best thing is to purchase your tickets by yourself to avoid stories that touch.

N.B I'm not talking about those that travelled to Russia with ulterior motives
