if you'll throw sentiments aside, you'll admit 400k is not a dismissive sum in the price difference btw two cars; widely acclaimed as perfectly similar.

What could av made toyota give corolla such market value over matrix.. that's where my curiosity lies.

I can afford to buy matrix now..but I intend to chill a little for corolla instead in about a month's time..

Nigerians don't buy brandnew we buy mostly salvage corollas & matrix from auction.. I guess u know how auction works, due to demand for corollas, our dealers will bid higher on corolla and even if they get matrix & corolla at same price.. They will make more gain on the corolla due to demand

I will tell you the that reason if you can explain to me why in Nigeria a toks 2005 corolla LE is more expensive than a 2005 camry XLE(full option)

Abroad a full option Camry should be more expensive than a basic corolla LE either in brandnew and used

Nigeria Banks makes the Toyota Corolla extremely popular. They buy the sedan/salon version. Corolla do have a hatchback version but rarely used on Nigeria road.

Yes,I use a Toyota Corolla.

Yes, it's fuel efficient.

Yes, it is not complicated like other brand to repair.

But, sincerely speaking when 2 or more elders on car matters don talk don't doubt it.

Oga Gazz.uzz don say buy Matrix. Oga Dove.horizon don support Matrix and Honda Accord fan the.bigkendo don say Matrix better.

Let leave trash for LAWMAN and Corolla for Aboki. Get yourself a Matrix. It is a Toyota brand with good resale value.

don't mind them jare. There's something they call befitting or elegance.. Have u ever seen a matured man use golf. Even if it's 2010 model.. U can never compare them. Me sef wey never get moni can't use matrix as my personal car. Imagine me wearing agbada or suit driving matrix..
The consumers that demand Corolla are not fools jare.
Resale value nko. U have to consider that too..

My corolla wey I buy Nigerian neatly used 1million a year ago, I'll still sell it over 1million next year

I remember Ogunvic time,many joined the bandwagon to praise Peugeot ,next they flipped over and said ,the best new thing that has happened to them is Kia product, next is i saw all the naija used Kia ,up for sale . Few month down the lane , praises was up for Elantra, Now is if u know u know ,its Matrix over corrolla . My bros,Dont be deceived ,if u keep reading advises from this forum upandan ,confusion go be ur name,some advise is sentimental and some genuine. Without being told u should hv deduced with common sense that sedan is most preferred than hatchback hence the price difference and high resell value for corrolla. My 2cent
