Don't know how some doctors operate sometimes. How could he not run some test before concluding it was some form of breast infection?
Scan won't really do much now cos all you will see is sac, except you want to check and be sure baby is actually inside the uterus. Just stay positive and pray and we join our faith with you that all will be well with baby in Jesus name.

Some women have consciously and unconsciously taken things including antibiotics in early pregnancy and baby still turned out right.

Thank you ma,am really praying.and am spotting but not much I’ve google about spotting and I discovered some are normal,but still am scared God will surely take control of this I think I need to get a gynecologist to monitor this one
Please any shld recommend any good maternity hospital around Akoka/yaba axis in Lagos for me..

thank you ma for this I actually went to the hospital the next day and doctor said I was having a kind of breast infection and gave me some antibiotics,I’ve taken them for like 3 days and the pains and keeps coming up I decide to have home pt this morning I got 2 bold lines (positive) now am scared won’t the the. Antibiotics have effect on me? can I do scan now to be sure of the result? I awaits your response ma thank you

Congratulations first of all, yes go for scan to have an idea when you conceived and how far gone you are. Also to check on viability and the pain you complained of.
Antibiotic effects depends on the type, strength and duration of intake. Hopefully no harm has been done.

Drink lots of water, eat healthy and start on folic acid.

I think its okay oo... i'm equally buying it for my baby cos its portable and easy to carry about. I dunno how long baby outgrows it, but m guessing it should be upto 3months. Also, where didju buy it @1500/2k. Its sold here in lagos @1000.

Birth story: got to the hospital by 10am on Friday morning.. Without any contractions .I had already made up my mind to get an induction since my maternity leave ha started counting since Monday. The doc was reluctant because I wasnt 40 weeks yet. Hubby spoke on my behalf that we will be induced knowing the risks as well
At past 11, I was given two table spoon full of castor oil which didn't have any effect
By 1pm, folley bulb catheter was inserted cos I was 0cm dilated. It had to fall off on its own to indicate dilated to 3-4cm
It fell done minutes before 9pm finally after going up and down the stairs and walking the hallways. I felt happy that there was progress.
The contractions were coming but not so strong.
I manage to sleep around past 12am till dawn.woke up, feeling nothing
The doc came at 1pm on Saturday, asking when the catheter fell the previous day, I told him
He then check my cervix and said I was over 4cm dilated. I felt happy once more.
He instructed that I should be given cytotec as well as one injection on my thigh
After those two, about 30mins later the contractions began say about 4-5mins apart lasting for 40-50seconds.
I said this is the real thing
I was there oo till 6pm ..then I started seeing stars. They were coming at 2mins (or less) intervals
The doc came a gain to check my cervix
That check felt like hell..he said I was almost 10cm and asked for pitocin to be given
I thought I was going to loose my mind.
At past 9, I was assisted to the delivery room
Few minutes before 10pm, my son came out
Without any tear
Am so in love

Hurray!!! We started from the bottom now we are here .
Yes, we saw 1st trimester and ms dealt with us like it wasn't going to pass.
Some of us had to swallow chilled Eba, had special bowl for spitting, brushing our teeth was a vomiting session but look at us now , we've been there and done them all. Great is our God.

Congratulations on coming this far teamies, it hasn't been easy but definitely worth it.

We all are now safely in the 2nd trimester, may the rest of the journey be easy for us all. Amen
Our routine drugs are a vital part of this journey, please let's not forget that.
Stay faithful to it, its actually our partner on this journey.
I guess some of us must have had our 1st TT shot. For the rest of us who hasn't, our hospitals will let is know when It's time i guess.
