Ever since he revealed the amount a senator collects as monthly running expenses, he knows saraki will look for way to get back at him......before saraki could do that he outsmarted him......I am not surprised because saraki too is also a traitor and he will still experience more of it.

He believes because they are people with a goal, a vision for our nation, he believes because these are the persons that possess the know-how in leading this country right. To those defecting, regret awaits you ahead.

Since you seem a little naive, or slow to assimilate information

Victimization of Saraki and ekweremadu started again soon after Buhari discovered his overbloated budget (#89m for haircut and other rediculous aso rock expenses) was cut to size by the house. The silent war between executive stretched for 6 month, till Buhari later accepted defeat and signed the budget, subsiquently he sent in suplimentary budget and election expenditure ( N254bn a record high) now Saraki and co would still slash it to frustrate him(hence is need for cooperation of every single senator he can intemidate or buy over). And if you are wondering why Buhari needs the money so badly? I will explain to you in simple terms
Election and campaigning starts, billboard would be printed and pasted on every corner of your dumb street, that cost money, he would have to visit every single state on election tour with his large entourage spending huge amount on hotels and logistics
, artist would play and be paid, radio gingle and advert starts from #3000 for few min, ait or Chanel's would charge 10m for a live broadcast, bloggers would be paid some may even buy houses in banana island, and most especially vote now cost as high as 5k to buy. So if you are any smart you would understand why even a yes or no from shehu sani can affect Buhari so badly

STATEMENT BY SENATOR SHEHU SANI:

“My attention has been drawn to a report by an online newspaper without a defined address that I, Senator Shehu Sani and other senators plotted to impeach the senate president, Dr Bukola Saraki on Tuesday 24th 2018,” he said.
“I’m not aware of such plot whether it happened or not. And If there was anything like that, it stands condemned. I can never be part of any plot to impeach the senate president because there was never reason to do so.

“I enjoyed a good working relationship with Dr Saraki since 2015 till date and he has always supported and identify with me in my moments of travails and trials and I reciprocated the same to him.

“He has managed the senate with experience, responsibility and maturity and always respects my views even when it differs with his. Fifthly, Senate President and Deputy Senate President Ike Ekwerenmadu have managed the Senate satisfactorily and championed and sustained its independence.”
The senator said the accusations leveled against him will not work, referring to it as “cheap blackmail”.

“My decision to remain in the APC or leave the party is my own choice to make in tandem with my conviction, conscience and the imperatives of the constituents and constituency I represent,” he said.

“Fabrications, concoction and outright lies and blackmail aimed at me, to force me to toe a line against my conscience will not work. Using such cheap blackmail and character assassination against me will not work.

“I will continue to support the leadership of Dr Saraki and Dr Ike Ekweremadu till the end of the life of the eight senate. Once again, my choice of party is my business and not that of any person.”

Anybody that wants the best for this country is ought to believe in the Buhari led administration, this is the government that has invested in the people, they have recognized the importance of democracy, they have successfully eradicated corruption and are presently fighting insurgency, i think this government really need the peoples support to do more.[color=#990000][/color]

Senator Shehu Sani has been rumoured to be out of the ruling APC but last night after meeting the president along with other APC senators, he said he was glad about the reconciliation process and that he believed in the leadership of president Buhari and the chairman of the APC, Adams Oshiomole.

The APC senators were led by the Senate leader, Senator Lawan to Aso Villa where the meeting held
