Eben was right...the volume should be 250cm^3 not 25 tho using 25cm^3 would give 0.1g

C=n/v

c=conc in mol/dm^3

n=no of moles

v=volume in dm^3=250/1000=1/4dm^3

note n=mass/molar mass

C=(m/mm)÷v

0.1=(m/40)×1/(1/4)

0.1=(m/40)×4

0.1=m/10

m=1g

....u can use three formula for elastic collision.....but I will use two here.....M1V1 = M2V2....2nd formula....
U1 + V1 = U2 + V2.....so..3× 8 + 0 = 3V1 + 2V2 for 1...for 2...8 + V1 = 0 + V2..So....8 + V1 = V2.....substitute DAT into equation 1....
3 × 8 = 3V1 + 2(8+V1)
24 = 3V1 + 16 + 2V1
24 - 16 = 5V1
V1 = 8/5 ..V1 = 1.6....
V2 = 8 + V1
V2 = 8 + 1.6
V2 = 9.6ms....V1 = 1.6ms-1, V2 =9.6

Are you sure that the passport and signature are in JPEG and do not exceed 50kb?? If yes, then logout and login back. You can also change your web browser to either Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.

So we don't have Art students and English gurus on this thread that can help me with the English questions I posted. That is too bad!! The questions have been there for some days now without solutions to them. Pls let help one another on this thread by answering and posting questions and, showing corrections to questions.

Its been a while oh!
U.I stress no be beans oh, I heard that the sale of the PUTME form as commenced and I'm sure most of you would have gotten the form. I will just drop a few words of advice:
* Pls make sure you input the right information during the PUTME registration ( those that are yet to obtain the form) as things like wrong subject combo will affect you during the admission process.
* Don't relent in your reading so as to pass the exam excellently, this will avoid change of course or being offered a course lower to your initial course.
* For science students, pls get the following books; LAMLAD PHYSICS, LAMLAD CHEMISTRY and EXPLICIT BIOLOGY. INVISIBLE TEACHER by Dele Ashade(English) these books will aid you in ur study and yields excellent results when studied diligently.
* For Arts students, let INVISIBLE TEACHER by Dele Ashade be ur companion other books I recommend are EXAM FOCUS or COMPLETE GUIDE in the arts subjects you chose in ur PUTME.
* Don't forget the GOD factor, there is nothing God cannot do, so pls put him first!
* For those who chose LINGUISTICS or LINGUISTICS AND AFRICAN LANGUAGES you can PM on 08127002295
....looking forward to seeing you during PUTME and after as fresher's!!!

Ohhh...what a journey it was. Try and see to the fact that you're very familiar with all the practice questions. Like my GES tutor would say, "read like prayer won't save you and pray like reading won't help you". By God's grace, I had 68 which is the result of the lack of seriousness on my side of the whole thing.

In all, never forget God in your study. Never underestimate God's power on your exam and admission.

Pleeeaaasee...after your post utme, try as much as you can to go through some of your first semester courses. I thought first semester economics would be our secondary school economics but it's way far from it. The standard has been raised. Again, never forget God's ability in you. It definitely will help you in life. Shalom!
