There is no confusion anywhere except in the minds of you ipobs. Ifeajuna was the major mastermind of the January 1966 coup. Nzeogwu only took credit because he succeeded in northern Nigeria and Ifeajuna failed in Lagos. However, it is on record that Buhari as head of Army transport corp in 1966 played a very key role in foiling the January coup and helping Agunyi Ironsi to power. It was Buhari who mobilised every available vehicle that was used to counter Ifeajuna and his murderous gang in Lagos.
