Clearly Unconstitutional plot, with the intrest now taking a Visibly personal dimension.. After we will hear that the president has no hand in any corrupt activity but he sits silent when they occur, COMPLICIT! |

drlateef:IF HE REFUSES, HE SHOULD BE ARRESTED FOR CONTEMPT OF COURT ORDER. Just read what you wrote loud to yourself. The presidency has flaunt court orders on countless occasions what happened? They even violated Nigerias laws what happened? Na now you know say contempt on court order na crime abi? Smhhh!!! Nigerians are the problems of Nigeria. Every man is after his or her own selfish interest. |

The point I want to make here is that why would the senate president interfer in a situation that he can benefit from if he make a wise decision on it instead of deliberately making the case worse which lead to his impeachment, any outgoing and incoming senate president should have a logical view of the condition before making attempt to generalise. |

I doubt the authenticity of this news. Buhari is not that stupid. How can you impeach the leaders of both houses of assembly? With the kind of tension around, that can even trigger a war. |

Butterflyle0:Even in the political section you still argue aimlessly. The economic growth, institutional establishment, recorded under the OBJ/ Atiku can never be compared to the nonsense that is obtained under this APC failed administration of aimless propaganda . A total of 7.956 million Nigerians became unemployed between January 2016 and September 30, 2017, according to data from the National Bureau of Statistics. This is the first government since 1999 that has never reported job gains, only job losses in millions. Under this government and it's FAILED policies aimed at emproverishing Nigerians, Nigeria was few weeks ago declared as the poverty capital of the world(country with the highest number of of its people living in abject poverty ). Something that never was under the OBJ/ Atiku administration. Security wise this government has FAILED totally. This government has nothing to offer Nigerians. An Atiku presidency can NEVER BE as bad as it is now. Nigeria is at its worst moment ever as a country especially on the economic and security front. What has Buhari done to help ordinary Nigerians like you? List 5 things he has done to empower or better your life as an ordinary citizen. When time for employment came he made sure only the children of the rich and powerful got Jobs into all the juicy government establishments through the back door, while ordinary citizens like you were left in the cold to fend for themselves. Keep clapping for nothing because that is the only thing you seem to be good at. |

Sapeleboy911:The only court order not carried out by government is the Dasuki bail order. As stated by Festus Keyamo, the supreme court justices have stated that national security supercedes human rights of any individual. The government declined the order based on national security concerns. Saraki on the other hand adjourned plenary for selfish reasons. The court can reverse his order based on urgent national interest. By his action, Saraki is seeking to undermine the coming election with consequent implications for national security. The court can intervene to save democracy from being truncated by Saraki doe selfish reasons. |

Firstly, I don't believe this 'news'. No credible source was quoted. The journalist didn't give names. All the report kept saying was 'the source'. Which source? Ok, My own souce said it's a lie. Secondly, the FG can't force them to reconvene. The Senate is meant to be independent. Any other argument going forward is null and void. |

PaChukwudi44:They will need to pass a vote of no confidence in him. That requires a simple majority. A minority leadership must be forced to resign, otherwise it will lead to a stalemate, no business can go on in the Senate and no rules can be enforced. Arm twisting is what is required to get Saraki and Ekweremadu out of Senate leadership. |

drlateef:stop exposing your naivety in public. The senate president cannot be removed by a vote of no confidence. What about the IGP that teh senate passed a vote of no confidence on did it stop him from continuing in ofice.Saraki,Ekweremadu and Dogara will remain in office until June 2019.That is a political fact. |

Ugosample:I am actually listening to an interview being conducted now on the streets asking people their opinion about the political defections in the senate and their opinion about buhari and guess what? About 20 people were interviewed and 18 said the defections are not for national interest but for their own personal interest and that they stood with buhari regarding the economy. Atiku has been a certified failure and has never changed from that. He most likely would not be the presidential flag bearer for PDP and once that is done, he will either port again to another political party as the political prostitute he is or his political career would be officially over. If defections were the road to Presidency, by now Atiku would have been president. He has ported the most from party to party with nobody giving him what he wants. |
