A former minister of works, Tony Anenih, has said he will not be celebrating his 85th birthday with pomp as a result of the poor state of affairs of the nation.

Mr Anenih, a former Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party, said in a statement on Monday that he was putting off the celebration initially scheduled to hold on August 4.

Tony Anenih is simply broke and no longer relevant in the power equation. He's completely out of power for the first time in his adult life and I guess it's not really rossy. Here is a man who supported the dreaded Abacha regime and even campaigned for the dark goggled tyrant to transform into a civilian dictator. He participated actively in the 16 years that PDP misruled Nigeria and he's now shamelessly complaining about the state of the nation. The same nation he and other rogues like him have been raping blindly since his adult life.

Anenih should be celebrating his death while still alive not his birthday. At least u,ve enjoyed your life on the citizens suffering, abi what else do you want to celebrate again? Maybe it's the 400 million naira u took from Jonathan at the expense of Nigerians future.

Lol. He gave our Church (St. Anthony Catholic Cathedral) 500million this January and handling the full church reconstruction, reconstructed a road leading to a popular village, currently bought a house for 2. Billion Sunrise Estate in Abuja. Where he currently lives and also built and donated hospital all in this year. I work with him and I know what I am saying.

He is still bastardly rich my guy. These men stole to the extent that they can never be poor even till their unborn children.

And u also fail to mention Buhari who truncated Democratic regime, stole petroleum money in briefcase and fully Supported Abacha regime up till date... Don't always be bias and judge one sided.
