sod09:While this is preseason, you can not pretend there is no change with the energy in this team. I love how Emery is having the forwards press high even when the opposing goalie has the ball. There is better spacing and the transition from defense to offense seem faster with quicker passing especially from deep. Furthermore, our defense looks even more organized and tough with some excellent tackles Rowe and Guendouzi should definitely get shots during cup games. I would hate to see what happened to Jeff happen to either of them. I think Leno is going to be our number one, he made some brilliant saves and looked composed. Again this is preseason. |

Aren't Xhaka and Torreira supposed to be back by now? I'll really love to have Torreira in the first two matches. |

Guendozi to me is the 4 We've been looking for, a big upgrade on Coquelin and Elneny playing DMF. The guy opened up so well despite playing against 3 holding midfielders of PSG. He was Shining so well, Rabiot got envious and had to start forming him. All his passes were very calculated and having a striker like Giroud or Walcott with such a player would have been so so great. But Auba is a good one there. Bellerin is still shaky. If we have a Busquets in Guendozi, and then get Ndidi.... I'm sure it will be trophies for the gunners. Unai didn't sit one second for the entire match. Wenger would sit and if goal enter he will stand-up and celebrate with his pounding fist gestures. Willock and Reiss are two players that I think would do the dirty attacking Job to ensure Lacazette doesn't stress himself other than just being a 9. These youngsters Gat energy. But I'll also say Wenger gave em the chance. If only Unai can target the epl and forego the Europa. but he needs it to garner confidence from fans. Nice game. Weah's son has a good future. I want Unai to work on Iwobi's shooting. The guy is a total team player. The kind of player Messi or Ronaldo would love to play with anyday. |

The fact that we are yet to have xhaka and toreira in this team is a kinda frightening to see the selection headache for unai . Its still pre-season but already there is a sense of aggressiveness building up and the coach trying to enforce his personality on the team. Great to see Arsenal pressing teams aggressively again. Belerin for me still needs to work hard on a lot of things apart from pace which he has. A top four in unais first season would be an achievement in my own opinion. |

Nice to read positive things about the new look gunners, now imagine all our players returned and fully fit, that will be e good selection headache we hope for.. I'll be happy if unai eschews all forms of favoritism,as this will give every player opportunity to play smd fight hard for a spot.. It was one of Wenger's undoing, he plays his favorites almost all game and that brought complacency to the rest of the squad members.. |

Torreira left Uruguay for London yesterday. Should be joined by the Swiss boys, who exited the tournament earlier, for training tomorrow. That's everyone in then, except Welbeck (no disrespect, but he's not being hugely missed). Having few players going far in the World Cup is turning out to be a blessing. |

Kolasinac to me has failed to impress so far in Arsenal jersey. We need to sell him, if we can and get better reliable left full back to compete with Monreal . Iwobi can't still shoot to save his life. That dude isn't doing himself any favors with his poor shooting power, placing and accuracy. If he sorts out this aspect of his game, he would easily become world class. The lad Rowe, has goals in his game already and his overall play is good too. Little wonder Arsenal wasted no time in moving Wilshere on. And don't get me started about Guendouzi , dude is headed for the top, if he keeps his head up and keep working hard. In Emery, he is under a capable hand to groom him. If only we moved Wenger out, early enough, we wouldn't be where we currently are. It's a pity. Another season, another Europa league campaign, while spuds play in UCL. Wenger loving Arsenal fans who put the personal selfish interest of a paid club employee called Wenger, over that of the club, in addition to our greedy board/owner,did a number on us. It's a tragedy. I sincerely hope Emery gets us back into the top 4 this season. |

sod09:I wouldn't blame kosc, he was reported to have sustain an injury worthy of keeping out of football, he only manages coupled with the fact that he is ageing ,wengers bad defending tactics and doesn't have the physical strength required of a Top defender in English football.. I do not want us forget the years of quality service he rendered since 2010.. Let's chill and see what will happen under Emery, either we see different quality players or we get to fully confirm they are craps and should be sold asap next summer. |

sod09:OK, I will do you a favour. The poster's first paragraph suggests that the team that played against PSG was very solid. Therefore, when Xhaka and Toreira join the team, it becomes a problem for the coach on who to drop from any of the players that played in their positions. "Great to see Arsenal pressing teams again"- Do I need to say much about this? |

ndidibabe:yes...didn't you see the improvement in the team judging the 2 matches played. I agreed it's was psg team B but that team beat atlectico madrid, I think what he's trying to say is we now have a large squad competition to play will be high too as everyone will want to impress unai. What club do you support to start with? |

We seriously need to find good competition for Bellerin. He has carried his poor form from last season into this preseason. |
