If you are referring to ortom and the efcc issue please correct your empty reasoning by becoming aware that the efcc have been on his case since 2016 and did not start " a few days after he defected" as you erroneously asserted.

He was invited repeatedly by the efcc but refused to honour the Invitations.

This was why the APC issued him with a red card. His immunity as a governor is what has been protecting him from the whole issue being blown open and not his involvement with the APC.

After all buhari has gone after politicians in APC as well and dealt with them as well so why would you assume an erring Governor would not be brought to book?

What you are seeing in Nigeria now is democracy at its finest. No involvement of the FG in issues the already set up authorities meant to handle them should handle.

This is exactly what happens in the United States. The FBI does not seek permission of Trump before carrying out their duty because they have been fully empowered to function.

Trump will not pick up the phone and tell the FBI to go after anyone but he expects they get security reports daily and know what to do in such cases. It is when they do not do what they are supposed to that they are then invited to explain why.

In a democracy, 8 legislators out of 30 are trying to impeach a legally elected state governor, the presidency of the whole country can't condem such shameful act. How many police police officers have been arrested for laying siege on Benue house of Assembly premises? Of couse none have been arrested because they are carrying out THE ORDERS OF THE PRESIDENT AND THE IG.
A time will come in this shiithole where a battalion of Nigerian soldiers will invade a neighbouring country and police officers will attack, ransack state govt houses, hospitals, court premises, media houses and burn down properties while buhari and his INCOMPETENT IG claim ignorance. If the president will continue to pretend and claim ignorance to impunity and abuse of power by the police, how can he be trusted to secure lives and properties? And you wonder why hundreds of lives are being wasted daily in the country under this rudderless govt.

The Presidency on Tuesday said there was no truth in the claims that President Muhammadu Buhari has a hand in the move by minority members of the Benue State House of Assembly to remove the state governor , Samuel Ortom. The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr . Femi Adesina , said this in a statement made available to journalists
Adesina said Buhari would never be part of any unconstitutional act . He added that any attempt to link the President with the inglorious past , when minority number of lawmakers removed governors, will not stick.

The statement read , “ Even while attending the ECOWAS/ ECCAS Summit in Togo , strident attempts were being made to drag President Muhammadu Buhari into the unfolding drama between the executive and the legislature in Benue State.“ Statements have been issued by different interest groups , insinuating that the President may have a hand in the development in Benue . “ This is paranoia at its worst , coming from people who have wittingly positioned themselves against the clean - up of the country, and the way we do things . They prefer business as usual.

“ President Buhari will never be part of any unconstitutional act , and any attempt to link him with the inglorious past , when minority number of lawmakers impeached governors, will not stick. It will simply be like water off the duck's back.
