This is a back door attempt to force his himself on Nigerians so people can say since he is ECOWAS leader let him continue till 2023 .. But he will fail IJN.... ECOWAS must realise Buhari is on his way out of AsoRock and does not even currently have the moral right to stand as the bodies chairman because of his hideous human rights abuse and records plus disregard for the rule of law
This is what you dream off. Reality is different.
WE ARE SOLIDLY BEHIND YOU OUR PRESIDENT
I have been observing your comments on issues that concern buhari, and I have always wanted to ask you this question:
How does it feel like to always support a man whose majority of people are against?
Anytime an issue that concern buhari is raised here, if there are 30 comments, only one will be in support of him, and that one is always coming from you.
How does this make you feel?
Like a superman? Or like buhari's son?
When will it occurred to you that majority of Nigerian are tired of buhari?

Pls I am not trying to contend issues with you neither am I trying to say that buhari is a bad person, but I am just It was you a polite question and I expect a polite answer.

Okay.
Good you have noticed us supporting our PRESIDENT.
But we don't know where you got the fact that MANY people are against him.
That is a very wrong ascertations.
A man that won the last election with almost 16 million votes that beat his opponent with close to 3 million votes?
It's obvious the kind of people that hate him... you all know yourselves!
For those of you that hate him, it's is a very free world.
For those of us that LIVES him dearly, it's our life also.
When his predecessor was in power also, many people hate him so much and many people love him too for their personal reasons.
We love him because he is the person that can take Nigeria out of the mess the people you love (if you do) have all plunged us too.
He is a honest man.
He never supports evil or rogues (you may say no cos of your hatred for him).
But, we don't care as usual.
It's obvious the kind of people that hate him... you all know yourselves!
For more many reasons... take this.......

Barring any last-minute change in plans, President Muhammadu Buhari will vie for the chairmanship of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) in Lome, Togo, on Tuesday, TheCable can report.

A new chairman will succeed President Faure Gnassingbe of Togo at the end of the 53rd Ordinary Session of the ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Government.

Buhari departed Abuja on Sunday for Lome in company with a team of two governors and five ministers.

Also in the delegation are Babagana Monguno, the national security adviser (NSA); Abayomi Olonisakin, chief of defence staff; Ahmed Abubakar, the DG of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA); and Godwin Emefiele, governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

Diplomatic sources told TheCable that Buhari was prevailed upon Monday night by some West African countries to go for the position.

Other countries that initially showed interested in the chairmanship are Ghana, Sierra Leone and Cape Verde.

A diplomatic told TheCable: “At a dinner on Monday night, some of the West African diplomats had a long discussion with Buhari and persuaded him to run.”

TheCable had learnt at the weekend that the president was interested in the position, but senior government officials denied knowledge of it.

It is still unclear if President Nana Akufo-Addo of Ghana will be throwing his hat in the ring.

Nigeria is the backbone of ECOWAS, contributing majority of the funds, logistics and resources. The chairmanship should be left to smaller countries like Ghana, Senegal, Ivory Coast etc.

Why is Buhari so Desperate?

It seems this PMB is bent on disgracing this country. We're complaining of his incompetence as a president of Nigeria, now he wants to expose himself to the world. We'll not accept that, because next year we'll send him back to his country home in DAURA with our PVC.

True to the quote but how about you present your father and let us judge if he meet up to 1/100th of Buhari's achievement in life or are just another Ojukwu wannabe waiting in the wings to waste another 2 million of your kinsmen to buttress your large mouth that vomit nothing but BS.

We stand with you Mr President.
While they are persuading you to go for the position, Mr Jonathan contested a similar one and was defeated by a very tiny country's president
