It beats me how you attempt to justify this fake political show of shame with logical reasons! I'm not against the people who benefit from the n-power, I just don't think it's enough reason for them to throw bouquets at a failed government and eulogize them over something that meagre.

BTW, I try as much as possible to impact lives in my own little way. Bear in mind that what I earn is a result of MY HARDWORK, not stolen from the National purse. I may not be able to pay many people the n-power stipend continuously, but I pride myself in my ability to do my bit; not because I expect their votes, but because I care genuinely.

Anywhere lies is present you'll see him there gleefully spreading it. While millions have lost their high paying jobs because of the useless and clueless policies of this failed APC government,they think giving 500K Nigerian graduates 30k (less than 100 dollars ) a month for 2 years will replace all the jobs people lost.

Ordinary mai shayi (indomie and tea seller) makes more than 30k a month. In fact most petty traders you see around (barbers,Keke drivers, taxi drivers, butchers, recharge card sellers etc) make more than 30k monthly in Nigeria. That is a statement of fact. My security man's daughter back in Nigeria sells moi moi and she told me she makes 1200 naira profit daily when I asked her how much she makes as profit. This is a 19 years old girl that dropped out of secondary school in Jss 3.

She makes more money monthly as a moi moi seller at age 19 than the lazy university graduates Buhari is deceiving with 30k monthly. If you spend 1k daily to feed then the 30k will finish on food alone.

What kind of useless empowerment is this? Empowerment that can not even feed you properly.

When the time came for good government jobs, only the children of the rich were given jobs through the back door. Nigeria immigration service recently concluded their recruitment and only those close to political office holders were offered the job.

Just recently the Abuja light rail was launched and may complained that only the children and relatives of the rich and mighty were offered jobs to fill up the various positions that were up. Nobody even heard about the employment for the positions mostly in the terminal monitoring and controlling unit.

Keep clapping for nothing and celebrating mediocrity and empoverishing of the average Nigerian.

The good thing now is that those mai shayi and those traders if they are graduates, can apply successfully for npower without any connection and start receiving 30k monthly to add up to their business or even float another business from it...

N Power is totally useless . It's only 30k. It can not feed a person if the person is to rely on it. My 19 years old semi illetrate security man's daughter in Nigeria earns more than a graduate that relies on N power.

Until Buhari's son or Osinbanjo's daughter enrolls for N power you can not tell me anything about it. 30k is less than 100 dollars meaning that even those that earn it are still living in abject poverty. Social empowerment schemes are supposed to lift people OUT OF POVERTY not to leave them still wallowing in abject poverty. N power is still poverty perpetuation because it does not lift people out of poverty. Those that earn it and depend on it alone still live in abject poverty.

I have two relatives that I feed that are enrolled in this Npower. It was through them that I got to know about the existence of the scheme. They still live in my house in Nigeria and depend on me for most things. The N power money can not feed them talk more of pay their house rent and buy other utilities.

Ntech, N build etc are nothing different fron what you learn from vocational schools in Nigeria. There's nothing exception or spectacular about them. N power is just like any other government run program in Nigeria that is riddle with mediocrity, inefficiency and incompetence in the training field.

Are u saying there are no beneficiaries in Onitsha? It is not for everybody and no one is forced to do it. After all there are graduates who work in private schools earning less than 15k per month, won't those ones take this opportunity?
