I'll be visiting Benin in one week's time just for three days, I need cheap a very cheap hotel to lodge in as I've never visited Benin in my life.

The prices are correct. Standard checkout time in hotels is usually 12 noon of the following day.

As a rule of thumb, checkout ratings and reviews of the hotels before booking

A day or per night usually ends by 12pm the next day.I doubt if Osdy has #3k per night/day except it's another hotel that he is referring to.There was a Nairalander who lodged at Central hotel at Akpapava road sometime ago.He even opened a thread narrating his bad experiences there.most Of the 4k below hotels in Benin City are guests houses for prostitutes.
