I didn't even know that there is any dish in Nigeria like okpa so I don't see what the problem is.In Cameroon it is called koki corn and I don't even like it dat much so don't kill me

The next is fried spaghetti and eggs.Very simple for breakfast and can also be eaten at night as light food.If you don't want to eat heavy food at night

Interesting. Cameroonian recipes are quite similar to Nigerian's. I would like to try out Poulet DG and Hot pot grin.
You guys have a lot of plaintain varieties in your food. Wow cornchaffe it's been a long time since I have eaten that.We call it Adalu in Nigeria. wink

The next dish is my favourite which is fufu and eru.The soup is made with water leaf and eru.

Okpa is a Nigerian food not Cameroonian. I was born and raised on it.
what you saw isn't okpa it's corn and opka is not make from corn it is made of a particular kind of beans.

I am a Nigerian from Akwa Ibom State. I use to think that we (Akwa Ibomites) have the best food in Africa, but I now have a rethinking thanks to your very enlightening thread. I am moved to visit Cameroon just to sample some of the delicacies that you have highlighted here.God bless Cameroon, Nigeria and Africa.

Some part of awaka ibom n Calabar has mixed culture with Cameroon.. That's why they have similar food and all.. Just like the badagry Egun n the Benin..

Actually, koki beans can relate a little.bit to moin moin but not kwacoco bible. This right here is made with grated cocoyams and palm oil.
