Thank you for your time and advice, but since my admission has been deferred to September 2019, let’s say April/ May won’t be too early entering Canada?

Try not to go any earlier than May. Be advised, do not be tempted into taking up any kind of paid job before your school resumes. Doing so will be a costly mistake that will cripple your chances of succesfully securing a PGWP which allows you to stay back in Canada after graduation. So if you are planning on landing in Canada in April/May, understand that during that 3-4 month period till you resume, you will be SPENDING MONEY FROM YOUR POCKETS and will NOT accept any kind of job.

If there was an issue with logging in to check for updates was a problem, alot of us would have gotten several messages from CIC, or even life ban! That agent na olodo!

Biakwa:
Good day all,

Please I want to get clearification, a friend of mine that also applied via online called me that his agent is complaining that he is logging into the application which makes the CIC to be sending him warning massage. He said the agent said maybe at the point of updating the profile they are always being instructions which causes delay. Please ooooo I have been checking my own I no see anything. Is there anyone that is getting mail of obstruction from CIC eeeee....

Hi guys,I have been a silent reader for a while, I need clarification from the elders. The SOA off sponsor I submitted was my dads but he had just 5m as closbig balance when I submitted it, with inflow of over 30m. I also submitted his new company account with inflow of 10m but closing balance of 4K. Currently he has almost 7m in the Account that has a closing balance of 4K but someone said they wouldn’t check the balance just the statement I submitted and I am really bothered as they might consider as insufficient funds. Just want to know if the current balance during background check will be confirmed again. Thanks

You don't have to be bothered if the initial 5m is sufficient for your first year tuition and living expenses of CAD 10K

If you just type "convert cad to ngn" on Google, you'll get the official exchange rate. I think that's much easier and straightforward than looking for the different bank rates.

alftdbts:

Lol... you are harsh ohh, see the way you just bashed this fellow. Well last time I checked rate was N283/Access Bank to 1 CAD That x 85 = ? (Rates varies on your bank charge for online transactions)

Are you going to Quebec? If yes, you ought to have applied for CAQ and included it in your application.

Your school is located in which province? and when did you apply?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by Ogedadiva: 5:48pm On Aug 05, 2018
CAQ is a certificate you ought to have requested from the province you are going, I am familiar with Quebec, the certificate indicates that you've been accepted in their province for further studies.....

Why is your husband opting for Canada rather than the United States this time around? Why going for investment this time around and not computer science progression as in previous field? Why a second masters? He needs to have a very effective SOP that explains these and many more. Gone are the days when having a USA visa means easy entrance to Canada. It actually better these days to have no travel history. Having travel history these days comes with a mix bag. Please order your Gcms notes and after that, we can help you dissect and refire.

Ps: how long ago did your husband return from USA? Has he maintained a consistent job here in Nigeria and did you enclose payslips? Did you enclose property documents and your marriage certificate and children’s birth certificate? It seems also he didn’t state clearly the length of study he is going to be staying in Canada? Might be a mistake in the way he filled his form.
