No verbal agreement in music no matter how small it is. Put it in writing, sign it so that when issues come up, you don't need to come online and start ranting like a beesh. Just carry the person go court.
Some music producers make this silly mistake.
Once a big artist comes to your studio, you let all your music business knowledge out the window.
